Inn at Morro Bay, hotel in Morro Bay

Located inside of Morro Bay State Park, Inn at Morro Bay rests on 4,000 acres. It features an outdoor pool, and rooms are furnished in French Country décor.

The location and surroundings are so beautiful. A paradise for nature lovers and bird fans, as it is situated right next to a bird nature reserve. The room was beautiful and clean with a lovely fire place. The staff was super friendly and helpful, providing maps of the local area. I had some takeaway dinner from the restaurant which was delicious. The Inn is in walking distance to the harbour, shops restaurants along the beach, which was great. Would recommend for solo travelers as well. Wished I could have stayed longer.

Estero Inn, hotel in Morro Bay

Situated in Morro Bay and with Morro Rock Beach reachable within 1.5 km, Estero Inn features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, water sports facilities, free WiFi and barbecue...

We loved our time at Estero Inn. The location is perfect along the waterfront, there are lots of nice eateries and shops nearby and you can rent boats or kayaks next door. The staff are lovely, really friendly people, and the rooms are fantastic. The wildlife is spectacular too - in two days we spotted sea otters, sea lions, ospreys, divers and grebes and a bald eagle. There's so much to explore in the local area. If you like wildlife, you can walk down to the boardwalk trail or drive to the elephant seal viewing point north of San Simeon. Kayaking on the bay is recommended, and good value.

Loved Morro Bay, but wish we'd had more time to visit other places around the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. We especially liked Kickers (Tabitha was awesome), The Great American Fish Company, and Blue Sky Bistro. This was our first trip to the area, but it won't be our last.

Morro Bay is a beautiful place to visit. The view of the rock is amazing. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Shops are within walking distance from most hotels. Fabulous restaurants...many food choices. Morro bay is dog friendly. I love seeing all these friendly dogs who love to be petted and loved on. My favorite coffee shop is Sun n Buns...Great place for coffee and danishes.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town. It is quiet, at least in February when we visited. The sea lions and otters are fun to watch and listen to. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from for going out. We loved the wine and beer choices at The Savory Palette. There is live music but not on the night we were there.

What an amazing place to stay! The property is small but don’t let that fool you! Easy check in and very delightful lady who checked us in. The perfect location in Morro Bay! Walking distance to great thrift store shopping and yummy restaurants! Parking is a little tight but not bad. Cute and very clean rooms. The hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, but the weather is perfect. The staff provided a fan, but we didn’t need it. The hotel is super cute and I highly recommend staying here. We definitely will be staying here again!❤️

Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning to travel with your pets! It was my first time being in a pet friendly hotel and I had lower expectations but surprisingly the carpets were very clean, the room was extremely spacious. The room also came with an entire kitchen with a table and vintage microwave/fridge and stove with silverware as well. The bathroom was tidy but very clean and in great condition. The room didn’t have any bad odor it was nice and fresh, I really loved the wall decor as well!

I know Morro Bay very well and chose this place on purpose. Including knowing it was close to Dorns .. one if our favorite places . There was a relatively new employee who is doing a great job .. I have been in the Hotel and Hospitality industry for 40+ years.. I requested an upgrade which was a fair price and myself and my sons enjoyed the balcony.. you ought to keep her .. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name.. thank you for the stay! Breakfast was a nice touch!

I was a little worried with the hotel being 2 star and 1/3 the cost of our hotel in Monterey but it was perfect for what we needed. Small hotel, easy parking, short walk to the water front and Morro Bay was lovely. Such a chilled out place with plenty choice for restaurants. The room was spacious, modern, minimal and clean. Would recommend! Lovely white bedding and lots of white towels - my kind of clean and fresh!
