Ratanakiri Paradise Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel in Banlung

Situated in Banlung amidst tropical greenery, Ratanakiri Paradise Hotel & Restaurant features environmentally-friendly accommodation in the Ratanakiri Province. I called from the bus station at 6:00 in the morning, asked for a pickup and after 20 minutes I was picked up by an 4WD car. I got my room at 7:00 AM in without extra charge. Delicious breakfasts, amazing view from the restaurant and pool. Nature, peace, rest, a tropical garden and a manager who helped me with planning local trips. I highly recommend. Thank you for visiting this magical place.

Farmer home stay & trekking

Banlung

Located within 7.5 km of Yeak Laom Lake and 4 km of Ka Chanh Waterfall in Banlung, Farmer home stay & trekking offers accommodation with seating area. Where to begin. This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

Tribal Village Homestay & Trekking

Banlung

Featuring garden views, Tribal Village Homestay & Trekking provides accommodation with terrace, around 8.6 km from Yeak Laom Lake. If I could give Tribal Village Homestay 11 out of 10, I would. Delightful ensuite bungalows in exquisite gardens, excellent food available all day & evening in the charming restaurant/bar. Smey (the host) has excellent English, is a mine of information and he and his lovely family went above & beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, being attentive without being intrusive, and unfailingly good-natured. I was privileged to engage with his students at his free school (I volunteered), which was winderful as well as fun. Many day trips on Smey's motorbike (I don't drive) tailored to my interests (history, Tribal art & culture, nature & wildlife) both on and way off the beaten track ensured that I leave - very reluctantly- with a host of memories of once in a lifetime experiences. All homestays should be this good!

Bee Bee's Chalets home stay and trekking

Banlung

Bee Bee's Chalets home stay and trekking is located in Banlung, 4.5 km from Yeak Laom Lake, 6.6 km from Ka Chanh Waterfall, and 10 km from Cha Ong Waterfall. We did a great 2-days jungle trek here. We could choose to go with a local guide who speaks a bit English or pay extra for a very well English speaking guide. We went with the local guide and he was super nice! His English was definitely good enough, we could ask him questions and he teached us a lot. It was a great experience, hiking through jungle and water, set up camp, sleeping in hammocks, making fire and cooking in bamboo with our guide. We had some ricewine together and it was a very pleasant evening. The second day, after the hike, we went to the guide his house to have lunch. It's interesting to see how locals live, so different than us, I couldn't even imagine. Then we visited a village where we learned more about Cambodians. For this 2-days trekking we paid 60 dollars per person. We were with two people, if you have a bigger group the price is less. Except for the trekking, it's a super nice family and they make you feel like it's home. So warm and welcoming. I can only recommend to stay with this lovely family and do a trekking here!

Ratanakiri Homestay & Jungle Trek

Banlung

Located just 8.9 km from Yeak Laom Lake, Ratanakiri Homestay & Jungle Trek provides accommodation in Banlung with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The essence of Cambodia is not in their brutal history, not in their financial misfortune—it is in their people. The host family are tender-hearted. Their children are full of life, the students they host English classes for are full curiosity, and the owners are full of selfless love. I urge you to stay here, share in their beautiful way of life, and discover Cambodia’s benevolent spirit.

FamilyHouse & Trekking

Banlung

FamilyHouse & Trekking Home Stay offers accommodation in Banlung. The guest house has a sun terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. We were so grateful for our time here and for Pu Thea and his hospitality! We originally planned on doing a 3 day trek and during, we decided to come back early because it was too strenuous for us and they made sure we had a bed for the night. After coming back, I had tested positivity for covid so Pu Thea then moved us from a dorm into a private room in his brother's homestay. We then booked through him to get a bus the next morning however symptoms had gotten worse and was even more ill, so we canceled last minute and added an extra night for the room. We understand that all of these changes are not easy but Pu Thea was so understanding and accommodating for us. We were worried about our budget but he made it perfect for us. Thank you so much again! Highly recommend!

Green Hill Homestay, Restaurant & Treķking

Banlung

Boasting mountain views, Green Hill Homestay, Restaurant & Treķking features accommodation with patio, around 4.2 km from Yeak Laom Lake. Lovely hosts - they kept in touch with me on the day of my arrival and offered to pick me up from the bus station. The property is situated a bit outside the central town area, which gives it a really tranquil and peaceful countryside atmosphere without being too far away from amenities. Depending on the weather the lake and shops are walkable but you'd be wise to consider renting a moto (the owner offers tuktuk rides as well). You can enjoy a spacious deck/terrace overlooking the forested hills around the Boeng Yeak Lake. Rooms are simple, modest but clean and with all the essentials you'd want - a comfy bed, mozzie net, a fan and an outlet close to the bed. Hosts speak English and the lady managing the property is a good cook - you can enjoy a range of dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh local fruit without having to go anywhere. All at reasonable prices. Moto rental, various trekking or even bus transfer options can be arranged as well. All in all really enjoyed my stay.
