The owners are extremely kind and helpful and were able to organize for us the guided tours and activities in the cloud forest. The freshly prepared breakfast was very delicious and the best we had during our stay in Monteverde. They even made us a very early breakfast outside the usual hours so that we could leave in time for an early morning bird watching tour. A small but well stocked supermarket as well as restaurants are just around the corner.

This place is amazing. I booked only one night on our way from Uvita to Monteverde due to a misscalculation, and already at the reception I was feeling sorry that we were staying just one night. The welcome was so hospitable and warm, the welcome drink was the cherry on top. Our room was spacious and beautiful, stylish decor, facing the jungle as I had hoped, cause we are light sleepers. They have a lovely pool area over looking the ocean, there is also a bar and a very nice restaurant, which both close at 10pm, so there will be no noise coming to the room from there. Be sure to try the chicken dish and mango monkey margarita! All the staff were kind, attentive and smiling. I hope we can return to this place, it was so relaxing. No need to leave the property at all, but there is a small town center a few kilometers to the south with a grocery store and a few restaurants, if you want to.
