First of all, I must say that the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff was very helpful leading up to the trip, answering all our questions via WhatsApp and even arranging transport from Santa Marta Airport to the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and had both AC and a fan, along with plenty of fresh towels. The hotel staff was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times and always provided us with water from the fridge. Not to mention the gym, tours and the option of ice-baths. The breakfast served during our stay was absolutely delicious and satisfying. We were served with a variety of food items including fruit, eggs, and even pancakes on the second day. Coffee and fresh fruit juice were also included in the meal. Additionally, we booked a massage through the hotel and it turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long time, and the price was very reasonable. We were able to walk straight out of our room to the clean pool, which was maintained daily.

Facing the beachfront, UUTTAAKA Eco-Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in Palomino and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. The location was incredible. We had a private beach to ourselves. It’s a hidden gem they don’t have a lot of guests so you will really feel welcomed by all the staff and enjoy a private beach. The staff even came to our room to bring us food and drinks when we texted them. They also take very good care of the property we could see that they really cared about the place.

It was very nuce that this hotel was further from busy Palomino (to Palomino it was only 10min walking distance by the beach) And the staff was brilliant! Very friendly and attentive. Originally had a 2 night booking and extended our stay to 4 nights. Such a great value. On the main road, a short walk to the beach. The best breakfast provided. They also serve lunch on certain days that was wonderful as well. Very clean and the staff and owner were friendly. The WiFi was top notch. The power went out in Palomino and there was no break in WiFi connection. Also the hostel has a generator so the power outage did not affect the guests. Water and coffee available all day. Truly a great place!!

We liked almost everything. Nice 6 cabañas at the beach within palm trees. Long beach to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. Restaurant opened from 7 am till 9 pm with the last order at 8 pm. The food is really tasty. They have the best colombian cook and other helping ladies. Outside bathroom was a nice experience. Communication with the reception lady via WhatsApp and ordering food via WhatsApp so all is on time. We would stay again without any hesitation.
