Bossie City is ok but the Boardwalk is a complete failure.
Bossie City is ok but the Boardwalk is a complete failure. Five or so years ago it was a thriving shopping center now it is just a ghost town with a few restaurants and a Bass Boat store. It could return to its past glory with better management and a little quality marketing and rental recruitment. I have high hopes of its return.

I really didn't appreciate the fact that I booked and paid for a non smoking room with a king bed in advance and when I got to the property they didn't honor my reservation and gave me a room with double beds instead with no microwave or refrigerator!! Who does that maybe a lower rated hotel but I never expected that from them and they tried to charge me for an upgrade that wasn't my fault!!!

It probably could’ve been a really great opportunity.
It probably could’ve been a really great opportunity. This was our first visit ( and our anniversary). We experience began very well with the hotel receptionist, she went above & beyond.
The next day upon trying to check out, we had major significant problems and issues. The onsite Management team appeared to have a lack of clear management, leadership, communications. They literally lost my car! The Staff actually stated, “we are not able to find or locate it” We aren’t sure what happened. Hotel Staff stated they did not have it. I left it there with the valet attendant yesterday. Provided description, and the tag gave us.
It was not ever actually valeted BUT was left on the street, unattended with my personal effects inside, unlocked, and with the windows 1/2 down - Key fob inside!!
We were not happy for obvious reasons; however, until I told them we would be required to file with local state authorities and federal authorities due to living in Texas, and being in Louisiana.
They did not even make much effort to assistant not taking responsibility or offering to you know, replace repair or even reimbursed fees for my valet car that was left unattended on the streets of Shreveport with a State badge and ID in it, and definitely did not make me feel safe or secure. If I not had been with my husband, I am not sure I would’ve contacted local authorities to enlighten them of the city’s need of additional security.
I most likely would not recommend it to any one traveling alone, especially females but I also believe that everybody has bad days; therefore, I am not saying we personally would not possibly give this establishment the Ben of doubt and at least one more chance, Before stating I (we) will never return or recommend.
everything sucked started the shitty indian from the reception he had a look that scared you and he put on airs like he had a 5 star hotel but his hotel didn't even deserve a star it sucked directly like the indian it was crap then He asked you a hundred thousand questions to make sure they are the right people please avoid this hotel better sleep in your car than give your money to a crap😵💫
When I checked in the lady that checked me in was very friendly and had a great attitude unlike some hotels I have been too. When my husband and I asked her about night clubs, she had great suggestions and and advised us about different ones and the locations. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. I like that a convenience store is right next door and casinos are close by.
The room smelled like puke. They didn't bring any towels or soap the 2 nights I stayed there. No breakfast, mold in the shower and the tub had a where the whole bottom of the tub moved. I almost fell out of the tub twice. I was supposed to stay 3 days but I couldn't stay there another night. Sorry this is what I didn't like about this hotel.
Linens had burn spot, the room was very dusty, the floors were dirty, the tub and shower had long hairs and dirt spots. i had to dust and sanitize before i got comfortable because t was 2am and i had been traveling and was tired did not feel like searching for another hotel
filthy, ripped stained furniture, refrigerator rusted, kitchen grungy, bedding cigarette burns, smelled bathroom old and dingy. terrible suite could not stay at this hotel as it needs to shut down for a complete renovation
The hotel was so pretty on the inside and the room we stayed in was so spacious and nice. All the employees were super friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
