The location was excellent. Quiet neighbourhood but easy walk to restaurants and shops.
I liked all the little extras the hosts provided such as snacks in the room. They also lent us one of their bikes to use.

The house suited our needs perfectly and had everything we needed. It was conveniently located right in town, just a short walk to the water and lighthouse, and to the main strip with shops and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and brought us a new propane tank when we found that the one for outdoor fire place was empty.

There looked to be a number of interesting little shops all along Main St., but most of them kept odd hours, which meant that we weren't able to shop there due to our being in town only one evening. And we could have shopped the next morning, but most of the shops didn't even open till 11 a.m., by which time we were about an hour and a half's drive away.

My partner and I liked the ambiance and the warm, helpful and friendly staff.
The lovely downtown area is filled with quality goods; many locally made, outside dining, and the friendliest staff one could find anywhere.
Some restaurants had closed for the season but, with that said, there were many choices.
We had a wonderful meal at Seasons by the Sea. Another at The Red Herring Pub and an outstanding tasting adventure of a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Algonquin Resort.
Yes, it is very easy to get around St. Andrews whether by foot or wheels of any kind.
I have visited there with my partner at least five times in different seasons, and there is nothing I would avoid!

Quaint village in the Bay of Funday. Very relaxing.
Quaint village in the Bay of Funday. Very relaxing. If we had been able to stay longer than a night, we would definitely have done a whale watching excursion and enjoyed a lovely dinner at one of the many restaurants!

A beautiful area.
A beautiful area. Being the first time out of the US, the Canadians are a truly warm and friendly people. The whale watching tour was phenomenal. I went on the Jolly Breeze Whale tour because of the type of boat they operated. Erica and the crew were very entertaining
and knowledgeable. Very kid friendly tour they interacted with the kids showing them different sea creatures they had in their aquarium. Very hands on. Would highly recommend them if you're taking kids. Char and Chowder and the Sea Breeze are the 2 places I ate. Both very good, but the Smoked Salmon sandwich at Char House was fabulous. Love Canada!

Lovely village with quite a lot to do: if you are patient, check out the tides. Although St. John has a more active tidal bore viewed from the restaurant at Falls center, St Andrews tides are awesome viewed from the Harbor Front restaurant. We went whale watching with the Jolly Breeze on a masted ship. We saw a whale! And seals and had a great time. The bi lingual guides were great. We walked Kingsbrae gardens and had a wonderful dinner at the café there. We shopped the cute shops of Water street. Stop by the grocery store and try Canadian cookies Leclerc = soooo gooood. And for the down under fans, there are TIM TAMs.

St. Andrews is a quaint little town situated on the Bay of Fundy with United States of America located directly across the harbour. It's always a treat to tour the shops and pick up things that you not always find at home. The only problem is that the place shuts down way too early. If you tend to enjoy late night dinners, this is not the place. Everything is closed by 9pm even the bars. We even tried to fuel up in the only gas station in town and it also was closed. For a tourist town it's way too sleepy.
Booked this hotel for second time since we enjoyed the first visit in 2021. not sure what happened but the hotel seems to be heading downhill. we didn’t get adjoining rooms as indicated on my reservation. Received two noise complaints for walking to loud across the floors (and one of them a family member tripped by accident).
In our room was a very unpleasant odour. It smells very musty to the point where we had to keep door open the entire time.
The microwave seems to be on its last leg with the glass plate not seeking to stay in place.
Sue and Vern are awesome, just what you'd expect a New Brunswicker to be; friendly, with quick service and full of recommendations on the local area. We met friends from Ontario in St. Andrews and while there room (at another Hotel) was being prepared we sat and had a drink at the Picket Fence, Sue made sure we were up to date with the Canada Day celebrations in the area. Although a little dated, Picket Fence is clean well appointed and convenient to the town. I would stay there again and highly recommend it!
We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was a pleasant change from the hotel chain environment. The homemade jam, warm croissants, fresh fruits and great coffee and tea were immensely enjoyed. The hosts (Don and Judy) were great communicators, very informative, kind and sincere. We enjoyed getting to know them and the conversations on multiple topics. The home is clean and comfortable and is a beautiful example of late 19th century residential architecture. I loved the cast iron floor grate!
As some mentioned before, we cannot understand why this hotel has such high ratings. Nicely located in old town St. Andrews and parking right in front of the house.
However, the rooms seem dusty and old-fashioned but not in the nice, vintage kind of way. Rather it seems that not many investments had been made in recent years.
Breakfast was good.
Easy.Excellent location, very comfy beds, whole main floor of house with full kitchen, laundry, sunrroom, furnished outdoor deck, everything you need. Owner is very kind, and provides the items for a really good breakfast!! Makes exploring Saint Andrews and area
Great location in St Andrews, beautiful building with very large rooms and great amenities, 2 pools, spa and water tube. During our stay numerous activities around/in the hotel were proposed which was great for our kids.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but rather small. Overall a very acceptable place to stay for overnight in a beautiful town. I loved the retro feeling of this motor hotel.
Everything was so quaint and we had a lovely private deck with a view of the ocean and it was so clean and comfortable…it was just lovely and I will definitely stay again…far better then any hotel I have stayed in!
The location was close to downtown and made for a relaxing stay with dinner out at the Kennedy Hotel. The whole atmosphere of the town led to an enjoyable visit and a pleasant sleep. The bed was excellent.
All was fine, we had a good stay over here. The room was clean and looked recently updated. The hotel was easy to find since it’s nearby the road to the touristic town. Close by the town facilities
It was our first trip to NB, and we were really shooting in the dark when choosing a place to stay. This was an awesome find, right on the water with lovely views and a great hotel staff.
We were there in the off season and we were upgraded to a better room . Good food in the restaurant too. Right down town. A real historic hotel. Beautiful!!
Great B&B that is located within walking distance of the Main Street in Saint Andrews. The place was spotless and you couldn’t ask for a friendlier staff.
Beautiful hotel with great facilities - good size indoor pool, tennis courts, great restaurant, close to everything. Beautiful ocean view from the window.

Room very comfortable
