The rooftop bar was great with views of the beach, boardwalk and pier. The bar tender called Brook was so friendly, lots of fun, very chatty and with the most excellent of customer service skills, we were really glad to meet him. The hotel has a great art-deco theme and seemingly a lot of history. Our room was big and really nice, with a great view. It was clean and comfy and had all we needed. We only had a very short stop over in Atlantic City before heading to NYC early next morning so we didnt have time to use any of the other facilities but we did look at the pool area which looked really nice and had our stay have been longer we would have used it.

This was our first time to Atlantic City. There area huge assortment of places to stay. We stayed at Harrah's. In the future I would do more research to find a hotel that offered nightly entertainment in house or at least in close proximity to where I was staying. Also a better variety of cheaper food options available that are open on a daily basis. Although we had a clean comfortable room I would not return to Harrah's because of the limited eating options there. I will probably stay somewhere on the Boardwalk area.

It a great place for shopping, gambling and eating. Fun place in season or off season. The people are very nice and I love the walk along the boardwalk with its shops and places to eat. The beach is also great, so much to do and experience. I love Atlantic City

Well the weather at times wasn't so good. Yet the Boardwalk Tram was working. They're won't accept cash, only credit or Debit Cards. Found a new Boardwalk restaurant called Celebrity Corners. Excellent prices on meals, plus they serve alcohol.

We stayed at the Tropicana, and was highly impressed with them, & Borgata was EXCELLENT, but we went there our last day, and only had about three hours to spend. Late night food options were poor, everywhere we went. We had a sub at Tropicana the 1st night, and it wasn't very good. The workers at the late night venues, had a very hard time communicating, and understanding ENGLISH requests. The Food we did have seemed to be rather expensive for what it was. We ate at Chickies & Petes at Trop. & the Buffet at HARDROCK! We were one of the first guests into the buffet, and yet the Roast Beef was ALREADY prepared WELL DONE, there was no Rare, or Medium Options. It was $40 pp, and options were not incredible, just our own personal opinion, I guess. Hardrock also had DRINKS in glass glasses, and they were regular sized. (Not just a lil' plastic sample size). The Boardwalk was very nice, although we wished the weather was a bit warmer that was our fault for going in March. We did read online, however, that the TRAM would probably be up and running on the Boardwalk and it wasn't. The JITNEY was a great option at $2.50 pp going from Tropicana to Harrahs, and then again from Harrahs to the Borgata. Our cab driver to the airport, was Wonderful, and it was cheaper than we had expected. Will def. visit again in AC.

Love the boardwalk area but most of the shops r closed til summer crowd gets there. Beautiful beach near the casinos outside of that there are alot of homeless people and beaches further away from resorts is littered with needle caps so don't dare walk barefoot..
We had never been to Atlantic City before so we had no idea what to expect. We wanted to be near the ocean, have access to a pool, and be within walking distance to casinos. The Showboat checked all of those boxes. Not only a great location, but this properly was one of the few that was within our price range. We were a little nervous with how affordable it was, but were pleasantly surprised to see how clean the rooms were and the in-hotel amenities.
The front desk and overall staff were very friendly and accommodating... for the price I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. It's a cheap place to stay while in AC nothing more nothing less but it doesn't feel like a rundown scummy motel which was great.... of course it is a little outdated but they try their best to keep things clean an tidy which we can appreciate...
The hotel was in a great location. Close enough to walk to the boardwalk and the beach in just a few minutes (I'm not normally a walker and it was no problem). The staff was great, accommodating to my mom who has some physical limitations. The room was simple but clean, welcoming and mostly comfortable. It was exactly what I needed just to get away for a few days.
Very nice location, room was nice and spacious. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean, and it seems like once everything is back up and fully open this will be a great place to stay. The price was decent, but knowing all facilities are closed i will just book something cheaper next time.
Location is good - on the boardwalk. Hard Rock next door for gambling/slots.
Room was a good size, with 2 chairs and a table, you also have sea views in Bourbon Tower rooms.
It’s a fun hotel to stay in - indoor race track, bowling, axe throwing to name a few.
Definitely not a gamblers hotel.
Location was great . The Dunkin’ Donuts was disgusting , rooms where absolutely dirty including towels , bed sheets, jammed room door. 3 day stay housekeeping never came to change anything. Expected way more for the crazy price, worst hotel in Atlantic city
Tropicana s vibe is like Disney for adults and most importantly with a vibe that you are in another country with a Spanish Latin vibe where you know it will always be fun. I ve visited most of the Atlantic City Hotels, this remains my favorite one.
Great value for the room. Instead of staying on the boardwalk it's a lot cheaper to stay here and Uber a trip to the boardwalk. You'll have hundreds doing that. The room is also big and spacious with a huge terrace
The owner and the staff were very polite and friendly. The room was very very clean. The pool was great. The hotel is very close to the boardwalk.I definitely recommend you to stay at this hotel.
This is the far most the worst hotel I've ever stayed in .I stayed at best Western and paid a cheaper price than this I spent and got way better services than this place
