Amazing view, the breakfast terrace was very enjoyable, quite a way to start your day, nice service, we were invited to a firefly tour that was great, the kids play area in the lobby was great for our kid. It is really a bamboo garden and I love the pines in front of the terrace. We wish we could stay longer.

The lake is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
The lake is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It is not the most accessible by public transport, however. If you like adventure, then you can take the bus (I also took a ferry because the bus coming into the area stops on one side of the lake). If you have the option of renting a car, I would recommend doing that, as it will make your trip more comfortable. Overall, Sun Moon Lake is wonderful, as well as the surrounding area. There are so many activities.

Most places in Shuishe were booked so I got this place about 10-15 walking minutes along the lake shore path. I recommend finding something in Shuishe, which is where the cute town and the boat piers are.

Nice place, Sun Moon Lake great fun, the cycling is great and well mapped and no one tries to kill you like they do in my home country of Australia, food nice, people friendly. The boat on the lake and cable car look fun, but I ride all day the moped to Puli the next day, so I'll try them next visit.

Lake B & B was located on the Shuishe side of the lake steps...
Lake B & B was located on the Shuishe side of the lake steps from the trail that circles the lake. The room was quite spacious and clean. Our breakfast was served at a time of our choosing on the top floor in a gorgeous glass room overlooking the lake. The staff was eager to meet all of our requests. We had a choice of a Western or Taiwanese breakfast and asked for tea, coffee, and milk. We highly recommend this hotel!
We had a beautiful room - view, facilities and decor. The breakfast buffet was on the top floor and was a small Chinese stle buffet.
Parking was easy, we let them know we wanted a parking spot. They responded promptly. As instructed, we drove to the hotel and the receptionist took us to a locked parking lot 100m away.
Best of all was the location - heaps of food shops, the ferry wharf and coastal path all within 100m. Ita Thao was lots of fun.
Location was good as the hotel was near Ita Thao shopping area - the main shopping area in Sun Moon Lake. The lady at the hotel reception was very helpful and patiently explained things to us even though our Chinese was not that great. It helps to know some basic Chinese when you visit Taiwan as restuarant menus, and a lot of signage is in Chinese. The boat ride on the lake was great!
Very nice owners! Even though they cannot speak english and we did not speak their language, we could communicate through google translate.
The room had everything we need and was clean .
No parking, but it is in a small shopping street, so we knew that before booking. The owner guided me to a free parking spot and gave me a ride to the hotel on his scooter.
This hotel is a great experience when traveling to sun moon lake.
We enjoyed every aspect. The room was fantastic, the terrace, the dining, the staff, and the amenities were all good. The wifi was superb. The nature and temple mixture is unforgettable. Walk down the path to see the lake and enjoy the beauty.
Beautifully presented hotel – they really push the "royal" theme with the furnishings, and it's a delight to take photos inside the building. Very helpful staff, Room was very comfortable. Breakfast (you have two choices) was quite large and we couldn't finish it.
- About 5 minutes' walk to the main road/shops. The pier is also within walking distance.
- The room I booked was spacious and comfortable.
- Staff are flexible to grant requests that are outside of their hotel rules.
Very clean and beautiful view, new hotel feels, worth the money I've paid
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly esp the old uncle
Toilet seat is like Jap style, super comfortable
The hotel is very nice and clean. I could checking earlier because my room was ready at 12pm than 3pm :D thanks a lot! The breakfast is pretty balanced 😁 nice breakfast
Beautifully designed and such a convenient location for bikers! The Giant store is only a few doors down, and you’re minutes away from the Sun Moon Lake bike path
