Shoreline Resort Condominiums, hotel in Penticton

Facing the sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake, this resort features a seasonal outdoor pool "temporarily closed" and a full kitchen in each room.

Not one thing, it was incredibly dirty. First room was super moldy, and the second "recently cleaned" unit wasn't much better. I had to bring my own cleaning supplies to feel even a little bit comfortable staying there for the week.

Lakeside Villa, hotel in Penticton

Located in Penticton, less than 1 km from Sudbury Beach, Lakeside Villa provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and barbecue facilities.

Due to work commitments, we had to arrive at this inn close to 11pm at night. Remarkably, the manager who should have finished by 9pm, was there waiting for us, providing seamless communication throughout, ensuring that even on a snowy night, a light was there to guide us. Despite being a small inn with only fifteen rooms, the decor exuded sophistication and professionalism, with consumables sourced from British and Italian brands. The beds were just the right balance of soft and firm, incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was fresh and tidy. The coffee and tea provided in the room were exceptional. Located opposite a lake, the hotel offers numerous water activities in the summer and even has a water park open during the warmer months. It's just a five-minute walk from the airport.

Empire Motel, hotel in Penticton

Located 0.5 km from Skaha Lake, this Penticton property provides free Wi-Fi and a refrigerator in each room. BBQ facilities and a seasonal outdoor pool are on site.

Estelle checked me in. I was too tired to take advantage of the close proximity of the walking paths and lake. The room was exceptionally clean, the pillows, sheets and bed were awesome. what I did notice was the extra large fridge. Perfect if you are staying longer and like to have fresh foods. those regular bar fridges just don't cut it. For the price, I feel it was real value. Wish I could have stayed longer. I would stay there again for sure.

We came for medical reasons, and on the way between Summerland and Penticton there was a fatality on the highway which caused us to detour, taking a dirt FSR for 90 minutes. Thank you Google!! No one was out there to direct anyone. Once in our hotel in Penticton, we had a drink and toasted the poor person who passed . But then as we tried to head home the next day, another fatality happened on the same stretch of road and so we booked into a different hotel, this one with an outdoor heated pool. We made the most of a horrible situation, once more toasting the poor person that passed. BUT...locals say this is a common experience. Besides being horrifically sad, it's a real deterrent for us as tourists. No one wants to feel trapped or worse endangered as we drive that stretch of road into and out of Penticton. Maybe more policing that strip would slow these people down? Stricter road speeds? Hopefully you can come up with some solutions. We are worried about having to return for more medical appointments. Esp when winter comes and that FSR gets worse- there were some pretty dicey stretches of very narrow road or potholed places.

There are some gorgeous parts on the edges of Penticton and the outskirts, like right down by the water, around Skaha, and Naramata. Inner Penticton offers lots of excellent and unique shopping opportunities. There are many walking and hiking opportunities, and their museum (in the Library) is among the best I've ever visited. However, there is a considerable problem with the homeless population which grows and grows. I'm concerned for them, clueless as to how to help, but also I feel uncomfortable and (at times) unsafe as I'm informed that the drug problem plays a part, and drugs make people unpredictable.

Just went there to explore some of the back roads around Penticton- OK Falls-Oliver Osoyoos area. I didn’t go there for the beaches or night life. BTW if you need emergency care for any reason don’t waste your time with walk in Clinics. Go straight to Hospital Emergency. At least you are dealing with professionals.

This is an absolutely gorgeous vacation place , love it and we go back every summer … I specially like going during their Peach Frstival, lots of activities and shows to see …. My favourite are the free night concerts, it’s a great place to enjoyed with friends and family ( even the teens/ young adults like it) Everything is close by so you can walk everywhere, the beach and beautiful lake just steps away from most motels …. It’s a magnificent place to visit Lots of great dinner options and most motels units have a little kitchen, you can save by cooking breakfast and lunch , snacks, drinks etc . WE LOVE PENTICTON 🥰🥰🥰

Despite a disappointing hotel we stayed in, we thoroughly enjoyed renting e-bikes and traveling the KVR for 6 hours. Visited the Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. and enjoyed a cold beer after a long and hot ride. Also try the Neighbourhood Brewing pub in town for great food! It was Peach Fest weekend, so the free music concert in the park was nice on a warm, breezy evening.

Touristy town with beautiful sandy beaches and a refreshing breeze. The Slumber Lodge is in a great location directly across from the beach. Everything is in close proximity and is very walkable. Check out Gyro Park (host to numerous events), the Farmers' Market and all the wonderful shopping and dining experiences. For some great Mexican food and atmosphere we recommend Tequilla Vallarta on Main Street. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Hotel is close to Okanagan Lake, grassy park and is easily accessible from major highway and nearby restaurants. Plenty of parking was available. It has indoor swimming pool and hot tub, though we didn’t use these amenities this time. Room was spacious, air condition worked well in a few very warm days we stayed. Laundry facility in the hotel was a good amenity for a family. Check Inn staff was friendly and provided helpful info about the local area. Checkout was quick.

It seemed brand new. Very nice hotel. Nice small swimming pool and hot tub. Nice breakfast. My husband really liked his omelette and I liked my waffle. My husband thought the bed and the pillows were perfectly comfortable, but I would give a 9/10. I loved the blue lights lining the roof. It was a great location for us to get to our favourite restaurant, Theo's.

At -19 degrees out I would expect the room to be warm upon our arrival. Not only was it freezing in the room. 2 hours later it was still freezing. I called the owner and he told me it would take some time and he would see if he could find another heater. we really tried to support the little guys but ended up at another hotel. very disappointed.

The hotel itself is very old and you can tell, in very poor condition. Compare to the one in Kelowna. The swimming pool and hot tub not working. The ac in the room is very old and loud, i am hvac guy, this ac should have been replaced 10 years ago. Room 255. I won't be back in this location in the next time im in Penticton.

The couple who run the place are very friendly and work non-stop to keep it tidy. The pool was very clean, while neighboring motels had theirs shut down or covered up. Overall the place was fantastic value - best price in Penticton. so it is not luxury by a long shot, but it exceeded our expectations

Great location but probably not worth renovating - complete tear down and re-build and they could then charge more like everywhere else in Penticton! Was also surprised that we had access to the other motels - spa and pool. A bit of a bonus!

I stay here a few times a year for work. The owner is the nicest, most accommodating person. Unlike flea bag motels in interior British Columbia she keeps all the units clean and updated. You won't find a better value in Penticton.

Wonderfully modernized/updated old motel. Thoroughly modern, without the feel of being in a big "chain" hotel. No need to go to an office/reception desk; access to the room was by a door-lock code provided in advance to our phone.
