On The Point - Lake Rotorua

Rotorua

Surrounded by Lake Rotorua, On The Point -Lake Rotorua is a luxury retreat featuring spectacular views to Mokoia Island. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or indulge in a massage or treatment at the day spa. Exceptional location, service, with friendly welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in New Zealand. Everything was immaculate and so well done. Getting to pet the ponies and sheep and donkeys while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake was a bonus!

Each room at Regal Palms Resort includes a private bathroom, flat-screen Sky TV. Heating and air conditioning are provided, along with tea/coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge. We had such a great experience staying at the Regal Palms Resort. The staff were all so friendly and the room was beautiful! Our room had a kitchenette, table, king size bed, and a huge bathroom with a waterfall shower and jacuzzi tub. Free parking onsite was helpful since the resort itself is about a 5 minute drive from the main city center. The tennis court was very well maintained, and the hotel even had racquets and tennis balls to use. Would highly recommend!

Ramada Resort By Wyndham Rotorua Marama

Rotorua

The resort also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, heated hot tub, fitness centre and a tennis court. Guests can enjoy use of the BBQ facilities, fish from the shores or park their boat and relax after a day on the water. Property is on the other side of Lake Rotorua to the city centre, but we felt it was a great location. Only 10 to 15 minutes drive to town and isolated from town, it’s tranquil and quiet. Our villa was on the canal so every day there were ducks and swans outside swimming outside or back door. The kids loved it. Room facilites were good-nice warm rooms, modern kitchen , air-conditioning and stand fan included, decent bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Clean sheets and towels. It is highly recommended to get some groceries before checking in for cooking during the stay as the restaurant opening hours is irregular as it's privately owned. Would definitely recommend this place to any visitors to Rotorua.

The Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort is only a 7-minute drive from the city centre of Rotorua and is a short drive from Whakarewarewa Hot Springs and the Tikitere Hell’s Gate Thermal Pools. The room was comfortable, neat and spacious. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the staff friendly. Clean linen and towels with coffee and tea making facilities in our room. It was great to have a small fridge too.
