The home is warm and welcoming, with many amenities to support a comfortable stay: from extra heaters and blankets to plentiful mugs and dishes for tea or breakfast. The room is also spacious. Finally the host was available and helpful throughout our stay. We could walk to dinner in Owaka, which was an added bonus.

The apartment was very clean, quiet, spacious, modern and had incredible views. Nugget Point Lighthouse was only a Short drive away. We loved our stay here.

Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. Just a lovely, peaceful place. Host was very kind. Beautiful view and it had everything you needed. Loved the fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Would definitely recommend!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Kaka Point Views Apartment 1 is located in Kaka Point. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Kaka Point apartments was an exceptional property. It was like a model home. Beautifully furnished, clean, modern bathroom, plenty of tea and coffee, towels etc. The view from the apartment was stunning. We watched a sea lion on the beach one evening. We kept the curtains open at night so we could see the nighttime sky. It was just a short walk down to the beach. Wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect and even better than that.

Seascape Accommodation has 3 modern apartments, all fitted with quality furnishings, free WiFi, a Smart TV and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse. Wow, everything about this stay was great. We wanted to extend our stay after arriving, but unfortunately it wasn't available. All the little touches were appreciated and we loved the view, size of the room and furnishings. We will definitely recommend Seascape Accommodation to any friends or family travelling in the Catlins.

From SEK 1,637 per nightThe view was lovely, the chairs and bed were very comfortable and it was great to soak in the spa by candlelight after our days exploring all the wonderful places the Catlins has to offer. The Point Cafe and Bar is a short walk away. We enjoyed a meal there on our first night and had their take out blue cod and chips on the second night - the best we’ve had in New Zealand! We have already recommended KP Spa to family and friends and would stay here again without hesitation.

Well set up for self catering with electric frypan, microwave and hot plate. Beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean and well presented.

It was spacious, had everything we needed in the cabin and on top a big kitchen and bbq to use for everyone. From the park we could see the see lions. There‘s even a coffee shack next door. Just perfect.

Comfortable and relaxing place to stay in the Catlins. Jane was great, providing some basics groceries such as fresh milk, eggs and butter etc. Lovely, quiet location with great walks nearby.

Our cabin, Kaku, surrounded by trees and birdlife, overlooked rolling green fields dotted with sheep and the surrounding hills. It was so peaceful. Within 2 minutes walk were magical forest paths lined with magnificent tree ferns, crown ferns and undisturbed vegetation. The cabin was beautifully decorated, and contained books on the area, games, a well equipped small kitchen with a barbecue on the balcony. The old house on the estate was built in the 1920s and creates a feeling of timelessness. The owners helpfully supplied local history and tourist information and were so welcoming. We would have happily stayed longer in this unique oasis of tranquility and nature and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates these special qualities.

The view is fantastic. The ocean is just out the sliding door and across the road. The road is not heavily traveled, so there is no excessive noise. The bed was probably the best one we have had since coming to New Zealand. I also appreciate that the host told us about several things to do in the local area and set us up for a lot of good excursions.
