Unique experience all around & all together-being one with nature-the design of the glass cabin. Perfect temperature, layout, design, bedding. WE LOVED IT! No Kiwi SEEN by the cabin area but a walk down the main road resulted in a sighting! The STARS above you & it’s no dream.

With sea views, Church Hill Boutique Lodge & Restaurant is located in Half-moon Bay and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace. Chris and Deanne are a great team. We enjoyed our conversations with them and their hospitality. We both liked the option to pick your breakfast time and select what you wanted from the menu. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Very nice place a little uphill. You wake up by the Sound of the birds. Excellent pick-up service from the ferry with short introduction tour in Oban. Highly recommended.

With panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, The Bay Motel overlooks Halfmoon Bay on Stewart Island. It features a nearby golf course, a free shuttle service and free private parking on site. Very cosy and comfortable accommodation and friendly and helpful staff. There were some cheaper options in Oban, but my lodge was worth the money.

Stewart Island's iconic South Sea Hotel is located on the foreshore, in the centre of town. It is 2 minutes’ walk from the ferry and airline terminals. Location great Meal fantastic and room ok just wish there was kettle and a fridge to keep things cool but overall great.

Tokoeka PurePod is situated in Stewart Island. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Outdoor dining is also possible at the holiday home.
