Situated in Christchurch, 300 metres from Canterbury Museum, The Observatory Hotel Christchurch features accommodation with a fitness centre and private parking. Simply amazing. One of the best hotel experiences ever - and we have had many. Such a lovely, historical college building, beautiful decor, cleanliness and perfect customer service. A beautiful room and bathroom, lovely bed and linens. We also liked the continental breakfast a lot. I have celiac diseace and had yet a good choise. The breakfast hostess earns our special thaks. Location in the Arts Centre was great with shops a lovely restaurants and a cafe. Sadly the antiquities museum was closed Mon - Tue. Also the museum tram has its stop very close. Keep up the service-minded spirit. Thank you! ♥️🇫🇮

The Classic Villa is a 5-star hotel located in Christchurch, and offers free Wi-Fi access. What an exceptionally lovely spot, we felt instantly welcomed by Steve and Michelle. The Villa itself is impressive both in its grandeur and the intimacy of the rooms. The fixtures are all updated and the water pressure absolutely perfect while preserving the era of the building. We heard not a sound from any of the other residents at all. Breakfast was a communal event with an opportunity to chat with other travellers from many points in the world. The Classic Villa is also on the tram route which is incredibly convenient. We would happily return should we visit Christchurch again.

Offering an on-site walking trail, Koura Bay Lodge is a 13-minute drive from central Kaikoura and Kaikoura Train Station. It offers free unlimited on-site golf on the 9-hole golf course. Exceptional location against the hills looking across the golf course to the ocean. Idyllic night sky with mist drifting over the mountains. Jen and Warren are fabulous hosts. Jen made us two reservations at wonderful restaurants the Strawberry Tree and Zephyr. I am sure without her wizardry we would not have got into these great places. The next day Jen made us a Jen gin and tonic. She could be an honorary Canadian as it was exactly as we make them at home. Koura Bay Golf resort is an outstanding home away from home. The rooms luxurious spotless well appointed and so quiet. We would highly recommend Koura Bay for all travelers and particularly if you are looking for a golf resort.

Originally built in the 1880s, Merivale Manor offers elegant and luxurious accommodation with free WiFi access. Christchurch city centre is only a 5-minute drive away. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Merivale Manor
