Located in the heart of the lagoon - you can enjoy your breakfast on the water front. And it was a nice surprise to have coffee and some pastries available for free. Kayaks are also available for free. The bungalows are magnificent and the place is calm.

Located in Bacalar, bacalar My Love Front Laguna features free bikes, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. This place was amazing! 😍 Great location! Personnel were super friendly and extremely helpful! Bikes and single person Kayaks were available for free... Great view from the cabins... Cabin 4 was my favorite!! Other cabins are also awesome but 4 was much better than 6 or 7. Jose Antonio, Yoli, and Roberto are awesome! And I'm sorry to the cleaning ladies cause I didn't get their names but the rooms were impeccable.. even though I didn't get their names, I left the cleaning ladies their tips each day though! Overall this place was one of the most beautiful places I've been to!! Thanks Bacalar my love and staff!!

Totem Buenavista has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and restaurant in Bacalar. The hotel features both free WiFi and free private parking. Aldea Elvira's lagoon dock setup is true paradise. We loved biking through the jungle to get there with the bikes provided and spent as much time as possible there during our stay. The water is some of the best we've every swam in and we loved having it mostly to ourselves for a quiet reset. Something to note about the accommodation is that there is no fridge available for guest use. There is a great restaurant onsite but it's not always open so if you need food in between meals be sure to bring things that don't need to be refrigerated. We slept extremely well in our cabin. It stayed pretty cool at night without AC and the bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed talking to other guests from around the world in the common areas. The shared bathroom was clean. Buenavista is a tiny town with friendly residents that we really loved. There isn't much in terms of restaurants and shops but we appreciated the local bodega for cold cervezas. We had a rental car and visited Bacalar once which was nice but we really enjoyed staying in the quiet paradise of Buenavista for most of our time there. This isn't for someone looking for nightlife, a perfectly maintained tourist zone, or a resort setting. We enjoy camping so the elevated rustic style of glamping was a great fit for us.

Maison Bacalar is offering accommodation in Bacalar. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel has a garden and a terrace. Beautiful new(ish) hotel with a lovely garden and mosaic walkways. For us we liked the fact the room was a good size, clean, had a fridge, coffee maker and good A/C. Also a ceiling fan if that's what you prefer to use. Oh and for once in Mexico, lots of hot water in the shower. The area is nice and quiet as it is a little ways out from the centre of town but it is an easy walk to central Bacalar. Okay, we have never met a more friendly, helpful hostess. Flor went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed including arranging a taxi the morning we departed. This hotel is her pride and joy and she takes it very seriously in making sure her guests are taken care of. And for those whose Spanish is limited her English is flawless.

Absolutely stunning design of the cottages and the property! Amazing views from the restaurant and sunbeds on the lake, beautiful yoga shalla and a great yoga teacher, great breakfast, and mostly absolutely amazing staff ready to help at any hour.

Best hotel in Bacalar no doubt. Akalki isn't only a hotel but it's Holistic Center where you can heal. Everyone there made us feel like a family.
