The hotel was very well located and staff were fantastic. Special thanks to Carlos who could not do enough for us and allowed us a late checkout which was also appreciated. The pool area was great. While there was no coffee or TV in the room, it was nice to enjoy coffee by the pool in the morning, where a TV was also located. The hotel was very quirky with lovely Mexican art, and room was spacious. Would stay again and also highly recommend!

Located in Los Barriles, Hotel Hondo features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Very clean, very responsive host, we were able to check in 2hrs early, restaurants and beach in walking distance, very quite at night, nice pool area and fully equipped kitchen- so really everything you need! Highly recommended!!

Amazing staff - in particular Laura who was very caring and attentive to our son. She also let us check in early which was a really big help. The pool was fabulous for our 10 month old as it has a very shallow entrance and a big beautiful hammock, comfy beds and very clean too.

Great place for the weekend, clean rooms and facilities, friendly staff, beautiful view from pool and restaurant. Restaurant is nice too.

As a hippie, the property is so cool with all its terraced verandas, patios and sitting spaces! Loved that I could bump around at different times of the day and find sun or shade. Amazing views overlooking the ocean. Sunrises were spectacular from the aerial view on the side of a cliff!
