Gate is locked at night with code provided for security purposes. Neighborhood feels safe and remote, despite being close to everything. Feels super authentic. What a wonderful, perfect stay. Would stay there again and will recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Costero Rooms offers air-conditioned accommodation in Ensenada. At the hotel, the rooms are fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. The location is on a busy main street so if you stay on a Friday or Saturday night it will be very loud. For some reason the big rigs driving down the street continuously lay on the horn. Other than that it is very quiet. There is no parking but it was very easy to park on the street. You can even go down the street and pay for parking at the Bahia Hotel. It was roughly $2.50 per hour. There are no employees there so you're kind of on your own but if you need anything there is a number to call so you can contact someone. I would definitely stay there again.
