The ability to see whales from the terrace was magical. The food is excellent with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Room was large and comfortable, anti mosquito plugins and sensible nets were standard. The hotel has a group of giant tortoises as well which were fun to see.

A white sandy beach is only steps away. - Excellent location on a beautiful beach. - Very good food and excellent pastries & bread, which often in Africa and Asia is difficult to find. - Excellent host, very nice details (picking us up from the airport in an ox driven cart)

The staff were all super helpful and friendly, the restaurant had great food and drinks, and we could see and hear the ocean from our bungalow. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We arrived on independence day and they offerred us a room upgrade from garden view to water front and we could literally hear the sound of the ocean while sleeping. The decoration is absolutely beautiful with tree amacas, pool and a very well kept private beach. The hotel also partners with locals for food and excursions. Highly recommended is Madame Franconie's home restaurant Le villageois with fresh fish and meat at very good prices in a family and warm atmosphere. We had a second honey moon thanks to these guys!
