Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. The most memorable stay during my travel in Greece, although I've stayed at 5 star luxury suites on Santorini and Crete after this. The hostess, Vassiliki, and her assistant were just amazing! So sweet and helpful. The room also had everything you'll need: nespresso, fresh linens, great beach towels (those were divine!), and even individually wrapped face masks. My room had a balcony facing the port. What an experience to wake up early and watch men loading produce on mules and distributing it throughout the town. I enjoyed excellent freshly made breakfast that was prepared by our host right in front of me. Vasiliki also baked fresh pies, such as salty cheesecake or brownie pie daily. Make sure to try her homemade preserves!

Located on a private beach in the area of Plakes Vlichos, Four Seasons Hydra Luxury Suites offers free Wi-Fi throughout. The location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. The staff were amazing so helpful made you feel welcome nothing was too much trouble plenty of information about the island and advice with regards to hikes great restaurant recommendations and made the bookings which as brilliant as many of the popular restaurants need to be booked.

The dining area was a bonus for morning fruit of night cap in the evenings.The patio area was perfect for relaxing in the cool of the day

Built in the 19th century, the 5-star Hydrea Hotel is located in Hydra Island, within 400 metres from Hydra Port. We had a wonderful stay in this very nice Hotel on the magic island of Hydra - hope to come back.
