Extremely friendly, helpful and sympathetic hosts - definitely would recommend!

Heima í Stovu has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Hvalba. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The house was beautiful, a living museum built in 1912 and in great conditions for the guests to enjoy it. The host was amazing. He prepared a delicious traditional cake and breakfast for us, and shared many stories about the Faores people and their culture.

Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands in Tórshavn has 4-star accommodation with a fitness centre and a bar. The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and a Chef there to make up omelettes to your exact instructions, loads of pastries, easy to operate coffee, juices and the usual british breakfast items. My room was huge, big tv, double bed and couch, separate shower and toilet and location perfect. I have to give a special mention to the reception staff, (especially the blonde with the glasses, I never caught her name) who helped me with trips numerous times and my safe deposit box problems, which was my mistake. The Hotel also has a shop for sandwiches, drink, etc. at the side of the reception.

The natural grass roof of this peaceful, design hotel matches the surrounding green countryside. All rooms overlook Nólsoy Fjord and central Tórshavn, which is 2 km away. Wi-Fi is free. I loved the simplicity of the hotel's design. It's modern and embodies the less-is-more concept. The room and bathroom were super clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I appreciated the details like locally hand-made soap 😊 the staff was friendly, helpful, and allowed some flexibility of services when needed.

Hotel Djurhuus is situated only a 9 minute walk from Tórshavn city centre and 350m from Tórshavn harbour. This hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free private self parking. The peacefulness of the area up against the Sea. The rooms are clean, breakfast is great, and there is plenty of hot water for showering. The bed is comfy and only a 9 minute walk into town.
