Nomads Queenstown offers a variety of room types, from small and large dormitories to Private King rooms with en-suite. Many of the rooms have balconies with picturesque views of Lake Whakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range.

as soon as we walked in we weee impressed! lovely reception area with fun, lively music and a warm fire. information desk there with anything you’d want to know about the area or trips out. the rooms have a balcony, their own private bathroom and are clean! you can hear the club music from outside at night but I can get to sleep easily so this didn’t bother me. the kitchen and common area were amazing, big and spacious, clean kitchen every day there was a poo table and football table in the common area too as well as balcony for smoking, lovely fires so it was always warm. there was leather couches and even a sauna and movie room! it was everything you could want and more from a hostel! I’d definitely recommend. and location was perfect

Amazing view to the lake, I could enjoy nature just on the other side of the street. Kitchen was quiet and clean, also with a view. I wanter to stay in a quiet place and it was perfect for my expectations. Bedroom was confy and clean. Also I arrived late and they had organized everything so I could still check in without no one in the reception. Location amazing, very close to the busy streets.

Everything was fantastic here. Great location between Queenstown and Gibbston so perfect distance for the concert. Very clean and great facilities, roomy living/bed area, super comfy big bed, spacious bathroom with awesome shower and pressure. There was a washing machine and dryer in there as well. Great views and cool seeing the planes coming in for landing. Very quiet with no road noise was great. Safety box for key so we were able to arrive whenever and all contact between the owners was friendly and informative. Thank you so much!

Great location. Good vibes. Helpful staff. Great dorm rooms - beds with plugs and a curtain. Towels provided which is always a nice touch. Hair dryer available if so desired. Secure storage area for luggage. Laundry service was also really swift and priced the same as other hostels where you have do your own laundry (it’s done for you here). Lovely social areas both in the living area and kitchen area, with plenty of outdoor space as well if the weather is nice. I returned later in my trip to this hostel as it is great.

Great location, felt like the penthouse of the hostel. Had all the basics and comforts to be happy, and the stunning view through the surrounding windows was a massive bonus. The service was also one of the best we had during our time in NZ - communication was spot one and great knowledge of the area and the activities on offer. Holding our luggage was also a massive bonus post check out.
