The room is simple but clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed having a table by the window for work and a fridge with some welcome beers and a bottle of water. There is a basket with first aid, knife and some other essentials in the room whish is a lovely detail. Even though there's just a fan we were okay because the windows with mosquito nets assure good circulation. The wi-fi was good enough for work. It is true that the shower is just a pipe without a shower head but I actually prefer that to weak pressure showers in many other places. Bonus: extremely friendly cat 😁 Perfect location close to the beach as well as the colectivos on the main road. Plenty of great food spots nearby. We would definitely come back!

First of all: What makes a hostel stay amazing? Isnt it about the people you meet and how cozy and at home you feel? Bugambilas Hostel was a perfect stay for us. Its a local run business located just a few minutes from the beach and the main street in la punta. Its quiet at night and a very calm get away from the party people on the main street. Dalia welcomed us as we are friends for a long time. We stayed 2 weeks and still coming back to hang out there. We stayed at a private room. The Hostel offers Dorm rooms, capsules with aircon and private little bungalows. The place is only some month old and offers everything you need (kitchen, hammocks, hangout area etc). And the best: Dalia is building a nice pool at the moment and a little shop. Dalia and all the people we met made our stay unforgettable and we made friends for life. Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. This guest house is 1.6 km from Bacocho Beach and 1 km from Commercial Walkway. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a housekeeping service for guests. Casa Sixta is in a great quieter location in Puerto, a very short walk to some of the calmer beaches like Manzanillo and Carrizalillo. Magnolia is a wonderful, kind and hospitable host. She was very helpful and accommodating during my stay and I really enjoyed having nice conversations with her. Definitely recommend staying at Casa Sixta!!

They make sure everyone feel ok while staying here and recommend several activities per day on their cool whatsapp group that you join right after check-in; bbqs, live music, dinner... Don't miss out their drinks' nights at their rooftop (so cool) where you can get to know other guests and the hosts.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We highly enjoyed staying here and extended our stay twice to 8 days in total. From top cleaning to the great view on the Pacific Ocean - Zero complaints at all :-)
