Located in a historic building that is just 5 minutes’ walk from Union Square, Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel Union Square boasts a rooftop restaurant, a library, a gym with indoor pool and a 564 seat... The room was big and comfortable and was well lit. The location is right near union square. The breakfast was very good. There is free guest laundry. The hotel itself is very unique as it is also used as a memorial for the marines corps. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The price was more than reasonable compared to other options in the area.

Offering Italian-inspired design, this centrally located San Francisco hotel is just 3 minutes’ walk from the popular sights of Union Square. Room: Beautiful, with huge windows and a nice view. The kitchen corner was equipped beyond my expectations! Plates, utensils, glasses, kitchen towels, even sponge and liquid for washing the dishes. The only thing missing was a kettle for tea, but you can repurpose the coffee maker. Very comfortable bed, big bathroom. They warned me at check-in that the cleaning will not be done every day, but it was sufficient for me. Location: Great, few min walk to the union square, close to some bus stops. Just avoid going to the direction of the problematic neighbourhood. The terrace lounge was very nice and cozy, possible to take tea, coffee or hot cocoa.

Set in San Francisco, within 1.1 km of Union Square and 2.5 km of Moscone Center, FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill offers free WiFi. Staff was really nice and always greeted when you left or came back to the hotel. Room was clean and large enough with private bathroom, cabinet, bed and TV. The hotel is located centrally in SF, we mainly used with public transportation during our visit. Nice bakery same street and around the corner) and restaurants nearby (Nob Hill).
