Family-run for over a century, this historic 4-star hotel next to the Votive Church and a small park is just steps away from the Ringstraße boulevard and the University of Vienna. The staff was very welcoming ! They were very helpful and very polite. They did upgrade my room for free and gave me late checkout for free on my request which i really appreciated Beautiful, unique, classical hotel belonging to a very nice family

Located in Vienna’s elegant Alsergrund district, Hotel Boltzmann is set in a quiet side street just a 10-minute walk from the Schottentor Underground Station and the University of Vienna. I have visited this hotel many times before, and it is always my 'go -to' when staying in Vienna. Clean, good value with excellent room amenities. Some things even seem to be upgraded since last time e.g. new door lock, new safe and hot drink facilities i.e. kettle and sachet coffee, tea, sugar etc Staff all super helpful and welcoming.
