After staying one night in the city center at a less than desirable hotel, we moved on to this place to retrieve our sanity… and it worked. A pleasant stay at this resort with plenty of amenities… nice restaurant and bar.

The staff were very pleasant and very pleasing. The location was in a nice and quiet area, not far from all the restaurants. The hotel was very beautiful and super clean. We needed some laundry done, and the lady at the counter gladly took our clothes and washed them. Each evening, one of the ladies would ask us what time we'd like to have breakfast, so they'd have it ready for us. They'd offer us hot tea or coffee and bring it to our room. The service was so great that one of the ladies went to the pharmacy to get me some Midol for my cramps. I was very pleased with my 4 day stay.

Great place for a little roadtrip!
Great place for a little roadtrip! The Huacachina Oasis is just one of the best places I have ever visited. It is a very small place to relax, do a dune buggy tour with sandboarding and then going to the Islas Ballestas to take a boat tour. It was great!

Huacachina is a beautiful place (especially looking over the desert), we stayed 2 nights and managed to book several excursions in the 3 days we spent there. We also managed to visit Paracas with an excursion booked from the hotel.

Ica is lovely!
Ica is lovely! A small oasis in the middle of a sandy desert. Very peaceful.A ton of restaurants and bars. Must go on the sand buggy ride which I would highly recommend, the drivers are nuts! The more we laughed, the more the driver would drive off on to yet another challenging sand dune. Fun! Definitely try out Sand boarding. It does seem scary but is easy to get hooked on.

I like this little city, or large pueblo, however you want to look at it. Compared to all the other towns along the coast this is probably the cleanest and nicest to visit (not counting Lima because it's sooooo much bigger). And I've visited more than 20 towns in Peru.

Ica or better Huacachina is a great place to be!
Ica or better Huacachina is a great place to be! It was awesome to see the town in the middle of the sand dunes. I also did the sandboarding trip which I liked a lot. However, I was not interested in the other possible trips (trip to the Islands, Pisco Sour and Wine tasting tour, or Canyon tour), so that one day would have been perfectly enough for me. However, I don't know how to better plan it with the buses, so I think 1 night stay is a must and you can only take the next bus in the next evening.
The hotel was quite nice, you are treated to the desert dunes view from your room balcony and the rooftop breakfast area.
The bed is comfortable and the room is sufficient size. There is also an AC that works quite well and a respite for the desert heat.
There is also a big pool which is pleasant after climbing up the dunes. The location is also pretty central right smack in the lake/oasis and near bars and restaurants (pretty much all of Huacachina though since it’s a tiny oasis town).
We just stayed one night but it was great. We arrived early in the morning to Ica and they picked us up for free!
Then they upgraded our room for the same price and Sonia took really good care of us! She went with us to buy our next bus ticket, she let us change the breakfast day and she was very attentive when I felt sick at night, she also called a doctor to come and check on me.
Breakfast was really good, one of the best we had in months.
Clean room spacious, we got picked up by Luis, place is 10 minutes from the city lot of taxis and colectivos that you can catch right outside the house, we decided to stay there because we wanted to have a driving experience on the sand dunes and it was the high light of our trip we also did a street food tour We try lots of Peruvian dishes, paracas tour, and winery tour we had a great time, 100% recommendable
The best hotel thrue our 14 day visit in Peru. We've stayed in varios places in b&bs and 5* hotels.
Exelent swimming pool to relax after a day spent in the desert. Clean spacious rooms, nice shower. Huge and super comfortable bed with nice linens. The best receptionist in Peru, exceeded 5* hotels staff - fluent english, extra polite and genuine.
Good kitchen. Easy checkin and checkout.
Everything was great! Flexible check-in and check-out times; the room was clean, spacious and came with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a safe and central neighborhood. Flavio, the owner, also offered a comprehensive and great private tour around Ica and Huacachina. Thanks!
We had a fantastic stay at Huacachina Desert House. The staff were so kind and helpful and it was very comfortable. It was a short walk to the lagoon and easy to also go into Ica town. The pool was really nice and the room clean.
We would stay again!
The host was super nice and accommodating. The location although far from the downtown area was not a bad thing for me, transportation and getting around was not that difficult. Communication was clear and host was waiting for me once I arrived.
The staff were so friendly and the location and style of property was unlike anything we had seen or stayed in before. I would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cool stay while in Huacachina.
This place is amazing and feels like paradis, very well located and great to relax and take a break during a roadtrip in Peru. The restaurant in the hostel is also very nice and good, friendly staff also!!
Very good and clean room, ideal for a stay in Huacachina. The staff was amazing, super caring and helpful! A lot of activities are available directly at the counter of the hotel. Thank you for the stay!
The hotel is really nice and comfortable. Our room was big and quiet, we liked the location of the hotel, the food in the restaurant was good! I would just recommend to improve the breakfast a little.
Recommend for a couple of nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nearby the downtown, you can be there in a walk distance. The room has what you need.
Nothing, i had a reservation and after i arrive there was no hotel ;) I tried to call the owner and he said there a no avaiable beds and the hotel is sold out. Bullshit
The facilities were good but the rooms needed some improvement. They look completely different from the rest of the hotel. But in general everything was good.
