Perfect location in Hvar, just a few steps from the ferry and on the quieter edge of town. The rooms look onto a small beach and a monastery. The rooms (although on the small side) are nicely decorated and beds comfy and all have a sea view. The included breakfast was very good.

Staff of the breakfast was nice, but the quality of the breakfast was poor. We had the worst breakfast in Croatia among all the hotels we booked.
The location was good with a good view.

Lovely hotel, pool area is gorgeous and brilliant breakfasts in the morning! The location was brilliant, I’ve been to Hvar a few times but my first time staying here and would stay here from now on! Very nice mix of family and friends here as well. There are a few ways to access this hotel and can access by car from the harbour or a lovely walk but is very hilly

Hvar is the largest city on the Croatian island of the same name within the Adriatic Sea. The wildly undulating coastline formed a natural harbour here, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by the Venetians, who captured it as part of their empire. The Venetian Fortress sits atop a hill and 13th-century ramparts descend to the old town.
Another castle from Napoleonic times is on a different hill offering beautiful views over red roofs towards the offshore Pakleni islands sheltering the port. Ferries link Hvar to neighbouring Brač and Vis islands, Split and Ancona in Italy.
Given the size of the city, the amount of Hvar accommodation is staggering, and Booking.com offers everything from luxury hotels with pools to cheap guest houses and beachfront apartments. Although most beaches are rocky, their scenic setting and warm turquoise waters are still a draw.
At the heart of the city is the largest square in Dalmatia. Restaurants and bars spill out onto its cobbles, ending at St Stephen’s Cathedral with its see-through belltower. Around the same time the cathedral was going up, one of Europe’s oldest theatres was constructed in the waterfront Arsenal. The Loggia is the only remain of the Governor’s Palace, and the Hvar Heritage Museum helps to put all this in context.
Hvar was amazing. The island and views were beautiful.
Hvar was amazing. The island and views were beautiful. The water was stunning and so clear. Everyone was so friendly, food was amazing and we were very impressed with how honest the taxi drivers were. We will go back

Beautiful old town.
Beautiful old town. Spectacular view of many surrounded island from the Napoleon trail. The city provided plenty of seating benches throughout the city and rural. I visited other towns in this island that have the same relaxing standards. Thanks to the Croatia government.
However, October was not a good month to get access to island tours and most restaurants. I was told that April to September is when the businesses open fully.

I only went to the old town, arriving by ferry in the evening. Absolutely beautiful but even in October it was way, way over touristed. I decided to stop contributing to the problem myself by changing my plans and leaving early the next morning.

Hvar is incredibly charming and I wish we could have stayed a few more days. It's a high energy environment with young and older tourists alike, gorgeous historic spots like the Fort and really great shopping (dresses, jewelry, pretty handbags on trend all reasonably priced from a Boston perspective).

Hvar is for you if you love being near the water and sitting in the sunshine. Things i wish I’d taken, more cash, many places operate on a cash only basis and they cash machines charge up to €10 to withdraw from. The cheapest bakeries which are also delicious are near the bus station. Bring insect repellent and insect bite treatments and also bring your own sunscreen as it is incredibly expensive to purchase it on the island.
Take shoes you can comfortably walk up and down stairs in and on cobbled streets.
Best places to east for me were Kantun, Coffee snob, sweet treats bakery and Fig Hvar.

Hvar has the most beautiful water I have ever seen, if you take a trip with a taxi boat to one of the smaller island, you'll have a wonderful time. There's a nude beach where fortunately not a lot of people go to cause they're scared of nakedness.
Its super party touristy in the main town. Rich british boys and old white men.. everything is super expensive. There's no buses driving around the island so you'll have to rent a scooter or walk a long distance.
This hotel is all about the location and the great staff and outdoor space. The new pool and outside seating / loungers were a great bonus. Breakfast on the terrace next to the boats was magical. The room was smallish .. though probably felt smaller because our previous hotel room was huge but the view made up for it entirely . We could hear the music from the concerts until the early hours but I think that comes with the territory in Hvar town centre. The black out blinds and double glazing helped a good nights sleep regardless.
Paradise found in Hvar! This house is incredible, breathtaking view from the terrace, perfect location (quiet but close to town), comfortable beds and great appliances - the host was was very personable and accommodating, available at all times for anything that we needed. She even provided us with coupons for free breakfast at a beautiful hotel down the street, which was an effort that went above and beyond! This is the best place to stay in Hvar, and we highly recommend it!
FANTASTIC! Location, location, location.
We were in Hvar for the first time and it couldn't be better. From the first moment when we met a host who waited for us in the harbor and after a 2 min walk we’re inside of the museum!! This is a unique breathtaking place, not just a simple accommodation. Our apartment was on the second floor, a real small flat with anything you need to stay longer, modern kitchen, nice sofa.. but balcony was the best.
Wow Linda was the best host with great recommendations on where to go on the island! Greeted me with a beer and a few maps to show me what sites to visit and where to eat at. Dropping her name gets you discounts at places since she's so well known. The pictures of the apartment didn't fully convey the beauty of the actual apartment - especially the balcony - that view is ridiculous! I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in Hvar!
After 5 days in busy split this lovely family owned/run hotel in a quiet location across from a beautiful beach was an oasis of calm. It's only a 7 minute drive to busy Hvar town and the hotel will take you and pick you up for less than a taxi ride. Great breakfast, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Only spent 1 day in Havar but I wish it had been a week. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
This is a family business which translates to dedicated hospitality. The breakfast was amazing. We had a suite with balcony that overlooked the Adriatic. Wonderful views. Everything offered…rides into Hvar, maid service, bathroom facilities, pool amenities etc was top notch. We can’t more highly recommend the Tudors and their hotel if you want to escape the bustle of Hvar Town. Paradise!!!
We had an amazing surprise with this place. It’s super well located, super close to the best beach clubs. Breakfast is incredible, with everything that you can imagine eating. Pool is another highlight to this place. The sunset is beautiful there. Overall, It’s clean, comfy, good astral and staff is also nice. I would definitely stay there if I’d come to Hvar again.
Amazing hotel with the best location… 5 min walk from the main port and offers a more restful stay that the more expensive hotels located around the port.
Hotel is new and interior design is done with great taste. Rooms are just the right size with a balcony with a sea view.
Breakfast is great and diverse with options a la carte.
Staff is nice as well.
Lovely family owned property. Petar and his daughter Ana were amazing hosts at this idyllic remote spot near Hvar town. The crystal clear waters gave great opportunity for swimming, cayaking, snorkeling etc. We ate at the hotel 2 nights and enjoyed the BBQ with amazing Dorada and Sea Bream the first night and turbot on the 2nd.
Great location only a 10 minute walk from Hvar town centre so a good spot if you’re looking to stay central. Hotel itself is modern, well organised and very clean. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The room was adequate. The food options for breakfast were fantastic, better than any 5* I’ve been to! Thank you
We loved our stay at Hotel Podstine - everything you need all in one place. All of the staff were lovely and very helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff. The beachfront location was perfect. Would highly recommend and even though we’ve now moved on to Split we miss Podstine and Hvar already!
Amazing view and convenient location. A few minutes walk from the main harbors and restaurant areas, perched on a hill overlooking parts of Hvar. More of a hotel room like setup with expected amenities. We had a semi-private balcony with an amazing view.
This is a fantastic hotel. The house is quite new with very nice and comfortable furniture. The staff is amazing, so friendly!!! And the hotel is perfectly situated to the sea and to the center of Hvar.
Great old style hotel in a small street (quiet) while being nearby all the activities in Hvar
Very nice room with a view to the Port
Great host : advice, help
Excellent breakfast
confortable hotel, good rooms, clean, spacious. Very very agreable hosts and helpful with indications. Great place to stay outside the old town of hvar
