We loved our 8-day stay at Villa Conte Rari in the little village of Kato Garouna. You'll definitely need a car for this stay; it's optimally located for day trips in all directions of the island, plus the stunning Agio Gordios beach is just 5-10 minutes away. The kitchen is equipped for simple cooking. And thankfully, the air conditioning works very well! The host is very accommodating and quick to respond.

Wonderful sea view, close to tavernas and shops, 2 steps from the beach. The apartment was well equiped and the host very welcoming, helpful, always available and flexible! The parking is not directly at the accommodation, but that was not a problem, we just had to walk 3 minutes. The mattresses were really comfortable, more on the firm side.

Had the bungalow at the back. Clean, tidy, and well serviced. Housekeeping in every other day to clean, tidy, and make beds etc. Wi-fi (generally) good enough to stream Netflix etc. Nice private garden area with stunning view of the mountains behind. Bigger television would be nice. Day beds make for comfortable seating in living area. Apartment was provisioned with everything you'll likely need. Local supermarkets are not cheap, so maybe stock up in Corfu enroute.
Some short (5km-8km) but steep hikes in the vicinity. Hike/drive to Pentati for the view from the restaurant, another day hike/drive to Sinarades for the village experience. Couple of good restaurants/bars close at hand. I recommend The Ark (quality) and the Green Stone (value). Local people very friendly/helpful. I drove over much of the island and this is one of the best places to be. Go to Paleokastrista for the beaches, Pelekas for the panoramic view, and Corfu Town for the shopping.

The place is just so beautiful and relaxed, in the evenings it’s like a movie scene which is unbelievable, Sunsets are beautiful. Getting to the place is a bit of a challenge if you plan on taking public transportation as it is on the other side of the Island and I’m not really sure if public transportation is available in that area from the city or the airport. If you rent a car it will be an amazing experience for you as you will drive through the mountains and experience the sights of the city and the areas between the mountains.

Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday.
Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday. It's a mid- sized resort and has everything you need- restaurants, supermarkets etc. We were hoping to find a place with real Greek character. Although it's primarily a holiday resort it does have a nice peaceful atmosphere, and the local people were very friendly and welcoming. The beach is huge, and although there are lots of sunbed areas, there are also large areas without sunbeds where you can have your own space and quiet.

This was my first visit to Corfu.
This was my first visit to Corfu. Having visited many other Greek islands I wanted to ensure I chose a small resort which hadn't been ruined by mass tourism, and this certainly lived up to that expectation. Nice beach, great choice of restaurants, and no tacky British pubs / clubs / mega hotels. Would definitely visit again.

cool village, there are places to go and things to see, but not very much. shops(supermarket) are only for tourists, so everything is overpriced. + there are no buses to get to other town, you can only take a taxi or order a tour, for example, to Corfu Town for 9€ there and 9€ back, not so expensive, but! 14€ there , than 20€ (minimum) to eat 3 times per day for one person, to buy 5 liters of water, another 5€ and in conclusion that's a lot per day. that's why it's a minus, the only way out is to rent a scooter... but if you haven't a license, then that's all, there will only be a tourist overprice and no authentic places, unfortunately.
The Location , very clean, lovely staff , great food .
The hotel is lovely , Sebastian & Teresa have made it a little gem .
They have managed to keep it traditionally Greek but give you the comforts of home .
The staff are very friendly ,the restaurant is one of the best in Agios Gordios .
Breakfast selection was one of the best we have had anywhere .
The food is all locally sourced and a lot of the vegetables and herbs are grown in their own garden.
We would definitely recommend Sebastian's if you're going to Corfu .
Absolutely amazing studios. I enjoyed every day staying in there. I was traveling in Corfu and visited couple of places. So I stayed in 4 different apartments and hotels and Lemar Studios was really the best. Very welcoming staff and cosy apartments. It was really clean there with all you need in your apartment and even more. Good location with the shops, nice fruit market and restaurants around and the beach just 3 minutes walk from apartment. I want to say a huge thank you all Lemar Studios staff❤️❤️❤️
the sandy bay studios was the perfect accommodation that we were looking for. A room with a breath taking view, a beautiful pool with a great pool bar and a quick walk to the beach. It was just perfect in every way. Dimos was a great host, such a nice guy and ordered us taxis anytime we needed them. anyone planning on staying in agios gordios I’d highly recommend sandy bay studios. Will definitely be returning.🇮🇪
The staff of the hotel were very polite. They are really nice people and did everything required to make Corfu a great experience for us. I would especially like to thank Mr. Vasilis, from the front desk, Mr. Theodores from the restaurant and Mr. Harry from the taxi service of the hotel for making our stay so pleasant.
Delicious food, very good staff, great location, clean and worth the money.
You find everything in this place. They offer several activities, transfer to the airport, breakfast, dinner, parties at the bar and lots of good vibes. The staff were kind, the room was clean, the bed was comfy. If you don't mind to go up hill, this is a good place to stay for a good value of money. I liked and would go back for sure. All together made my stay in Corfu memorable!
The best part about the hotel is the location. It has a fantastic view of the sea and of the sunset every evening. It is so close to the beach and only a few minutes walk from agios gordios village (although the walk back is uphill).
Also, staff were really nice. The hotel sun beds are at a gorgeous part of the beach. Can easily walk to restaurants along the beach.
The apartment was very clean and tidy, and location was great-just steps away from a beautiful beach. Our hosts, Sofia and Michalis, were great, always doing their best to meet whatever needs we had. We are looking forward to another great vacation at Agios Gordios and Margarita’s rooms next year!

Great location for everything in Agios Gordios. Very clean, very comfortable beds, very nice pool! Lovely hosts. Helpful and just a beautiful hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. So fantastic to have a fruit basket, wine, water and soft drinks in our fridge on arrival. Thank you guys! Xx
Location was good, access to beach and swiming pool. Delightful host who helped us when we needed medication.
The village has a good choice of restaurants for a variety of budgets with in walking distance and no night life.
Good base to visit Corfu Town by bus or taxi
Everything was perfect. Even better than the pictures. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, also the view from the pool. Very clean. Very kind and lovely owners. It is the best place to stay in whole Corfu, not only in Agios Gordios. I highly recommend it.
The hotel was a family run hotel and they were so friendly and attentive. Very clean and well maintained. Great pool, no chlorine but a filtration system, overlooking the sea, beautiful. Everyone in the restaurants and shops in the village were all so friendly.
Very comfortable accommodation for family with kids, pool on the balcony was great solution for afternoon heat. Location of the hotel could not be better, right on the beach, all traffic stops just before the hotel, so it is really quiet just sound of sea :).
Stunning location.
Nice apartment, everything you could need.
Beautiful pool & sun terrace.
Stunning beach just metres from your doorstep.
Friendly helpful owners
Nice distance from all the hustle bustle.
Sea views from balcony (2a)
The location can't be beat. It's not only a 5-minute walk from one of the best beaches on the island, but also just a 25-minute drive to Corfu Town. We even had our own balcony with a fantastic sea view!
Family run hotel/apartments. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Service is very good. Location up on the hill with beautiful view as promised - short walk to the beach, restaurants and markets.
