The property itself is gorgeous. Such a gorgeous place to relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Santa Barbara wine country. The rooms are beautifully curated and homely, and the breakfast was good.

Solvang is pretty and green in the spring. The summer will be hot and dry! Even in March, many tourists were in town. The unfortunate side effect is that some local restaurant staff could be a LOT nicer.
Vin & Mad has an incredible dinner for us! I recommend this restaurant but be prepared for stairs and an uphill if you are traveling with someone that may have limited mobility.
Breakfast can be challenging, long waits even in the off season.
Parking can be a challenge for those with mobility issues as well.

Cute little Central Cal town where studio writers for LA go...
Cute little Central Cal town where studio writers for LA go on retreats, and throngs of tourists visit the O.G. Danish-looking town. The architecture is different than anything in CA, and there is a labyrinth of shops and restaurants to explore. So many great options peppered with wine tasting and beautiful vistas nearby. Dolce Café has amazing coffee and a unique menu of baklava, breakfasts, sandwiches and ice cream. Peasant's Feast came recommended by Michelin and went above and beyond. The Coyote Creek Inn serves as a wonderful wedding venue. But mostly, getting lost in the alleyways around town is always so much fun!
Solvang is a great stop between LA and San Luis Obispo. Two nights in perfect, three if you wanna move more slowly.

Fantastic, quaint little town in beautiful countryside.
Fantastic, quaint little town in beautiful countryside. Every single person we met in town was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The town itself is extremely pet friendly and tourists everywhere has their dogs with them.
very quiet area just a bit off of the downtown noise. Felt like we were staying at a private european cottage. I like that it doesn’t feel like a modern generic cookie cutter hotel.
We had the front garden area to ourselves every nite to watch the stars. The rooms in front facing the garden area are amazing !
I also like the fact that housekeeping & staff leaves you alone & doesn’t bother you every morning but will bring you fresh towels upon request.
The location is just in the downtown of Solvang. Easy to go anywhere in the town by walk.
I lost my shirt with credit card as well as $50 in the bed and noted after leaving the town. The staff has been taken good care of the items and provided solutions to help. The inn is reliable and comfortable place to stay. I would strongly recommend the hotel to travelers. I appreciated their effort and integrity. A very good place to stay.
The hotel was located close enough to stores and restaurants where we could walk but didn’t hear any of the traffic on the major road. The room was clean and had a huge amount of storage in the bathroom. To have two separate sinks in the bathroom was a huge treat and came in handy for our family of four. While we didn’t take advantage of the wine dispensers in the lobby, I love that it was available.
Location was perfect for downtown Solvang... shops, food, etc. The staff was exceptional and friendly. The first morning there we got coffee and sat by the pool. The desk agent came right out and lit the gas heater on the circular table for our comfort. A nice touch/offering without being asked to do so. We will definately stay here again on our next visit to the wine country.
I very much enjoyed the modern look to the design and paint job. Some of the local hotels need to update their paint jobs in order to compete. The balcony area was secluded and peaceful and larger than the typical balcony. 1st time there and I'll definitely return. Fairly priced. Solvang prices have increased over the past 10 years but this place is fair. Awesome staff.
Great location, in downtown Solvang.
Basic clean motel. Nice tiny room. A/c worked. No frills tv microwave mini fridge . Beds were clean. Shower, no bath.
Breakfast is coupon for local bakery with coffee and pastry.. really good quality..but a short walk from motel.
Kids loved the heated pool. The town of solvang is beautiful and our hotel was clean prime locations to all of the Bakerys and shops.we enjoyed our stay but found the price was too expensive for our budget. Thankfully my parents paid for the Room as a gift.
I loved this hotel, atmosphere lovely, very clean, Nespresso in the room, great breakfast and people very helpful and friendly! I would definetly stay here again! Location excellent, close to Los Olivos, Solvang and downtown Santa Ynez.
Room was good size and bathrooms were luxurious. Air conditioner is very quiet and very efficient. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel was easy walk from downtown Solvang. Front desk was friendly, efficieint and helpful.
Location was amazing - right in downtown Solvang. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool and hot tub are a plus because it gets hot in the summer. Free Danish pastry breakfast! Loads of parking on site.
So close to main area of solvang. Hotel was really clean. Nice staff . Nice robes for our comfort . I come every year to solvang and this is where I stay.
