The hotel is in a secluded area in the Colca Canyon, very peaceful and with stunning views of the mountains. The casitas are small villas, each with a private exterior hot tub, tastefully decorated and fully comfortable. The valley-view casitas offer more privacy than garden-view. The staff is very cordial and efficient, always taking care of guests (e.g., we needed oxygen and they provided it promptly). We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect to relax, disconnect and enjoy the property.

David and his wife are lovely. If you’re urning for a weekend at your grandparents look no further. They will look out for you and make you feel at home. David was very helpful with directions and recommendations. Breakfast was excellent. There was endless hot water.

Yanque is a very beautiful authentic village.
Yanque is a very beautiful authentic village. You should stay there longer than just one night (we had to leave too soon!), because there are many activities in this area. But if you are there only for one night, have lunch or dinner (almuerzo or cena) in one of the little restaurants near the church: usually they offer a menu for not even 10 soles with plenty to eat. Go for a walk, first to the ruins of Uyo-Uyo (in 45 minutes up the hill over the village), then on your way back to the hot springs next to the Colca river in order to relax in several pools (don't forget your swim suit and towel; the entrance is 15 soles per person).DanielaFrance - 10Scored 10

Picturesque little town, with very friendly locals, truly what I expected and was looking for. Immersed in a local Andean village and the total colca experience is a must. Thank you for the experience Colca Peru... really rocks!

Breakfast was regular but fine enough (they are still recovering from the pandemic restrictions, so a few things are still not back to what we believe would be normal). A special shout out to Domingo, from the restaurant. He went out of his way to offer us a few items that weren't on the very limited menu. Loved the natural hot springs in the hotel, which were not crowded and felt private, alpaca/llama farm is so unique to have in a hotel and was super peaceful to spend time at. The staff was very lovely and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Colca Canyon! We wish we stayed there longer.
