Lobby, bar, room; all were clean, elegant looking. For this price I wasn't expecting that kind of luxurious feeling. Also breakfast was so good. Also bar prices are fair, and people are kind and professional.

Location is great: right around a corner from the Dom. The hotel is super chic, an old building with cherished antiques inside, yet modern. The room was really spacious and stylish and cozy, liked it very much, there was a tea kettle and a coffee maker. Beds are comfy. Breakfast might not be that rich and varied (there is an option list you have to fill the day before), but everything is fresh and delicious!
The bell tower plays nice little songs every hour, but why in the name of God it keeps on working at night?😅 Luckily the hotel provides ear plugs (they were laying on the bedside tables), that saved my sleep, so million thanks for that!

The canals, trees coming into bud, friendly City folk, good coffee and excellent transport links. The historic buildings and peaceful walk along the canal which loops around the City were very relaxing. We enjoyed the City Museum and the cafe in the Dom (Cathedral) is a tranquil place to be. If you are looking for a civilised and smaller version of Amsterdam you will enjoy a long weekend in Utrecht.

A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit.
A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit. Loved all the cafe and bars and small streets where you can meander and wander in and out of lovely shops. Some of our party went to the top of the bell tower, quite hard going but amazing views. We also visited the Roman ruins under the tower, very interesting and good fun. Also spent a leisurely hour and a half on a a canal river trip, highly recommended! Went to several restaurants, great, reasonably priced food and far too much good wine and beer. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

Really lovely place, have been here several times and love it more each visit. There's lots to see and places to eat and watch the world go by. As it has a University there are lots of students around which adds to its vibrancy. It's a strange mix of busy and quiet in parallel. Watch out for the bikes as you're in the Netherlands, this took a little getting used to but it does mean there are not so many cars which is lovely. Absolutely recommend a visit!

A lovely old town with boutique, vintage shops, and great bars and cafes plus a big shopping mall near the station for international brands and a lovely up-market department store. Live music in many places. Lots of walking but enjoyable!
This was my second time staying at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Utrecht. The hotel is very centrally located within the shopping centre and very close to the central railway station. My room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The ensuite bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. Most importantly, all staff were very helpful, very friendly, and always available to assist. The staff here are exceptional. I want to particularly commend Evangelos, Wim, Olivia, and Yannik
The location was excellent, just 300 m. away from Utrecht Centraal station and less than 1 km away from the Dom. The facilites were ok and everything was clean. My booking included breakfast, which was ok. The bathroom was clean and the pods were ok. You can sleep well; however, I would not book a pod again. My recommendation would be pay a bit more and go for a private room unless you are on a budget. Other than that, it was good value for money.
The location is only 500 meters from Utrecht centraal meaning getting there takes minutes. I was a bit worried walking alone at night in a city center I wasn't familiar with but it was so short it was fine. I was able to check in at 11pm since that was the only time that worked with my flight and they were fine with that, the guy was also really friendly. Generally just a pretty good hotel, I'll likely go back.
The most positive element is the location of the hotel, because it's only 300 m far from the historical center of Utrecht. The hotel is the part of a great mall, very close to the railway station, trams, buses.
There is a parking opportunity belonging to the mall, even it's quite expensive, 40 €/night.
The breakfast is okay, quality and variety of the foods is excellent.
The bed is very comfortable.
The location was a short walk from the train station as well as within easy walking distance of the main city centre attractions. The beds were comfortable, showers hot and staff extremely friendly and helpful. The conversion of the church into an hotel was ingeniously designed and made an interesting backdrop to our stay. The bar area felt vibrant and lively at all times of day.
It’s bright, clean, a bit quirky and has a personality unlike other modern sterile hotels. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s walking distance to the centre of Utrecht. Bedroom size is good. Can hire bicycles in the hotel. Good idea to book in advance. Breakfast is good. Have stayed in Eye Hotel three times over the last few years. Will be staying again.
We felt very welcome in this lovely boutique hotel with nice atmosphere close to the city center of Utrecht (walking distance). Great place to stay in a historic building, freshly renovated room and spacious bath room. Very friendly owners. We enjoyed the possibility to have a glass of wine or beer from the central fridge in the evening.
This is my 3rd time at the Hunfeld. I love staying here for a few main reasons: incredible location in old town with a very cozy vibe, very close to Centraal station which is perfect for day trips in and out of Utrecht, and it has a unique boutique-styled hotel with lots of charm in the details. It’s a beautiful hotel worth its price.
Superb location. From the rear of the hotel you are in the centre of Utrecht, from the front a 10-min walk to train station. The staff were very friendly and offered excellent service. The buffet breakfast was amazing. A truly 5 star hotel but with high prices.
Affordable hotel with all the necessary amenities, close to the city & train station and very welcoming & helpful staff. I will definitely come back to this hotel for my next Utrecht trip, but next time I will try the breakfast + gym + bicycle rental!
Excellent, very spacious and comfortable room!
I totally recommend this hotel. The staff is also very friendly.
The city center and Utrecht Central Station are both very close by.
The location of the hotel is just superb! Very close to the main train station and the old center at the same time. And I fell in love with Utrecht. What a cute little Dutch town!
Perfect stay to ‘meet’ the city of Utrecht. The hotel gives the opportunity to discover all what is happening. The staff is very kind, correct and helpful
