Accommodation clean in a quiet area, although the road in front of the hotel is quite busy.
For those who want to cook, the kitchen is not very well equipped, lacks a jar, sponge towels. We ate in the restaurants in the area so we did not use.
There is no reception and therefore no services such as calling a taxi, transport to the airport. Make your own arrangements.
Nowhere did we get information in advance that breakfast starts at 10:30! Moreover, it was served without a choice. Nobody asks you if you want tea or coffee. Which way do you want your eggs. You'll spend the whole morning there. Breakfast is a waste of time and money.
The Marina Hotel never again.

Everything was amazing, staff is really nice, rooms are spacious and beautiful, beds are very comfy, wifi is fast, kitchen has everything you need for cooking simple things. Hotel has pool and bar next to it. They provide continental breakfast there. Diamond restaurant close was amazing with their dinner menu for few euros, highly recommended :) We would definitely come back.

Perfect stay. Eleni gave us a free upgrade on arrival to a huge suite with private pool. Breakfast was great with amazing coffee. The hotel manager even gave us a lift into town to get the ferry at the end of our stay.

"The hidden villas" is located in a beautiful, quiet location, full of vegetation and birds like the Bee Eater that fascinate you with their song. The location is strategic, somewhere in the middle between the major commercial attractions of the island: the most beautiful beach on the island: KOUKOUNARIES and the liveliest old port in Skiathos. The villa is very clean and well equipped with everything you need, just like your Home, and have a huge garden where children can have unlimited fun. The owners are by far the kindest I have met in the 11 years since we spent our vacations in Greece. I spent a week in which I did not notice how time passed.DanRomania - 10Scored 10

We loved the sand, the cleanliness and the calmness of the sea. There are beach cafes so you don't have to walk far for a drink or snack and the music was not too obtrusive. Kolios is more or less central on the main road that runs...
Kolios is more or less central on the main road that runs down the island so it’s easy to get the bus to Skiathos town or to other beaches. Plenty of Tavernas and a couple of supermarkets- some off the main road, not obvious. Two beaches within 10 mins walk, Kolios beach which is smallish, and relaxing, good facilities and AP which we didn’t particularly like., larger and without some basic facilities such as toilets. Highly recommend Johnnys Taverna on the main road - excellent traditional Greek food, fabulous staff, very good value.

The bay is very chill and relaxed, no loud music. There is a beach bar and a tavern and the cost of two sunbeds and an umbrella is 10 euros (2022). There is also a boat rental which offers a lot of options, from small boats to canoes.

Kolios and the surrounding areas are stunning.
Kolios and the surrounding areas are stunning. Beautiful beaches, pools, bars and tavernas. There are also small supermarkets and car/bike hire available. There are two bus stops, 15 and 16 were the bus takes you either way, to Skiathos Town or the other way to Koukanarias.

It has also a small kitchen where you can prepare a coffee, a sandwich. The host, Maria, is very friendly and she provide all the information you need. There is also a map of Skiathos which was really usefull. The location is Kolios, 15 minutes by tge car from the Port, which we found great. We could use the pool from a 2 minutes slow walking vila for free.MadalinaRomania

The rooms are big, clean, very comfortable beds. The yard is very well maintained with flowers and other beautiful plants. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the beach too much, because of natural disaster that affected Greece(heavy rains). I was impressed by the care of the staff so that tourists are affected as little as possible.

Great location, a few tavernas and a supermarket nearby. Bus stop number 15 was a 5 minute walk away. The bus takes you all along the south coast so it’s very easy to get around. The lovely Kolios beach is a 10 minute walk away.
