Beautiful little hotel, friendly owners. The family room was very spacious and nice. It is situated 'in the middle of nowhere', but for us that was not a negative point at all.
Enjoy a wonderful combination of wellness, gastronomy, natural surroundings and tasteful guest rooms at the friendly resort of the Denneheuvel. Guests can make use of free WiFi in the bar and lobby.

Staff is excellent, very professional, helpful and polite (reception, restaurant, bar....). I have asked for a quiet room and I really got a quiet room (very rare in other hotels that they take this request seriously). Thank you again for this! What a nice surprise, finally a swimming pool that is not ice-cold! The temperature of the water is just perfect even for people with RA! Separated time frame for children that makes possible to relax in the SPA + pool and enjoy the beautiful view. Decoration is top in the hotel. A lot of parking place. Billiard table to enjoy the evening. Bar (+ barmen) is also very nice, prices are reasonable. Super atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.

We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow.
We staid for the weekend. It was so good, with the snow. Durbuy center is very small and you can go through it in half a day or 1 day even. Although if you like walks in the nature and other activities, like horse riding or kayaking, it is nice to enjoy even more, on a long weekend or so. Really good escape from our day to day routine.

Very beautiful ancient town with a castle.
Very beautiful ancient town with a castle. It was lovely to walk through the winding streets looking at the old shops selling local produce. Nice topiary garden with many trees cut into interesting shapes. Beautiful river and geological rock formations. Quite small and does not take long to walk around.

Durbuy is a wonderful town in a UNESCO global geopark region that’s well worth visiting. With a good mix of both old historic and sympathetically added modern properties it’s very much a tourist hot spot. For either the agile adventurous or just people watching from the many cafes, bars and restaurants.

A little medieval village from the XIV century,...
A little medieval village from the XIV century, representative of the area, laid down in a valley on the river bank. A picturesque view of a river, rocks, and a castle. It is called the smallest city that exists as its rights were gained in 1333 and the street structure with the layout dates from then.
What makes an impression is that all the houses are built from stones with thick walls and small windows. There are many good restaurants and nicely located terrasse to sit and relax at good food or coffee.
Claartje and Bart are Superhosts! Warm, friendly reception, went the extra mile to prepare a wonderful vegan breakfast for us, and had printed maps for nearby hiking routes with clear instructions/photos to ensure we got back in one piece.
Location is great, next to start of a hike, also flowing river, and a great Spar supermarket 2 mins down the road. Short drive to Durbuy centre and close driving proximity (20-30 mins max) to some great places to visit, like La Roche en Ardenne.
Would definitely stay there again!
I contacted te hotel to ask in advance for specific arrangements as the stay was for a birthday gift and they did great. Nice surprise in the room and excellent service at dinner.it was great. The spa was great. Breakfast was excellent with different choices. The food was exceptional.
This was my third time here . I also had 2 couples stay there under my recommendation. I will definitely come back and I will definetly continue to recommend it.
Our room was clean and well decorated. The lounge was very cosy as well. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, locally sourced products. There was a spa room which you can use privately for an hour. It was also enjoyed to gaze around the property and look at their adorable farm animals. We didn’t meet the owners, but the staff who were there during our stay was very accommodating and friendly. 😊
The hotel is set in a gorgeous old and small city centre, all hotels are clustered together. We had the junior suite, with rustic old walls, a roof top view, highly charming living space and bathroom. and a balcony. It gave us the perfect setting to walk and explore when it was sunny, and lounge indoors reading when it rained. Note, no supermarkets of any sort in Durbuy.
We had very pleased stay at the apartment which was very well equipped. We had everything needed in the kitchen and nice experience at the large balcony where we had our coffee. Very easy way to get our key from the lock box and 10 min. access to Durbuy and local supermarkets.
Our host Kitty had prepared a nice welcome present - a red wine bottle and some snacks.
The dream lodge/ tents were very spacious and clean. The view was phenomenal. The site was well-kept and the pool and surrounding areas excellent. The playground wasn't particularly large, but in excellent condition, and had everything to entertain young children.
The proximity next to Durbuy Adventure Park is very convenient.
The house is lovely and very comfortable! Spacious, good beds, nice bathroom, hearth with real fire, everything you need is there in the kitchen. We loved the jacuzzi with views on the hills. Ample space to park your car on private ground. Only a 5 minute drive to Durbuy. Very nice owners. We will be back for sure!
Simple, clean hotel over the local bookstore/tourist shop, clean recently remodeled rooms upstairs (no lift). PARKING included, important in Durbuy. Back rooms facing river are very quiet.
No one speak English in this hotel
We pay 15 euro for parking on the front of the hotel
Too expensive for the staff that you take
The room was good, but still its not worth it
