The location of the cottages are very close to the centre of Tanunda and the neighbouring Barossa Valley.
The cottage was tastefully decorated and felt very homley.
Beakfast supplies were tasty.

Beautiful house turned accommodation with multiple rooms available. Ours had its own ensuite. It was clean and spacious and just the right facilities for a comfortable one night stay for us. Comfy bed, tv, sofa, mini fridge and coffee available. Room had its own air conditioner and heater so you won't be cold or hot at night there! The rest of the house had coming spaces like a dining area or a lounge area which could be used by the guests. The host were amazing. We arrived earlier than expected and as or room was available they allowed us to check in earlier. We woke up to a beautiful breakfast. Magnificent hosts and just beautiful little place to stay in. It is about 5min drive to main Tanunda town and wineries. We were able to easily move around with taxis being close to a few things (as we didn't want to drive cause of the wine tasting!). I def recommend this place.

Tanunda is a lovely little town with a good selection of restaurants and shops. It has character and the locals were friendly. It has a cycle trail running through it which is good for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally. Getting around was easy, we walked to dinner and took a taxi to lunch outside town at Hentley Farm.

Tanunda’s a lovely place to visit and the perfect base for winery visits. Plenty of good eateries and choice of wine cellars in Tanunda itself. Ferment Asian restaurant is lovely and the Angus burger at Char Grill was cooked to perfection. Z wines does great tropical sangria jugs. Nosh cafe is a quirky place and a bit like a tardis with very friendly staff. Krondoff cellar staff very friendly and good wine choice. Visitor centre very helpful and definitely worth visiting to check out what is on in the area.

A nice town catering for travellers to the Barossa Valley.
A nice town catering for travellers to the Barossa Valley. A typical tourist town providing accommodation and many restaurants (some of dubious quality such as Char Barossa which is to be avoided at all costs), but a pleasant place to stay all the same. Very central to many of the wineries in the region.

Perfect base to visit the many wineries around Barossa.
Perfect base to visit the many wineries around Barossa. There is an abundance of great cafes and restaurants with 1918 and Bar Musque on the top of our list for dinner and Blackbird have incredible breakfasts. Everyone from the cafes to Foodland supermarket were so friendly and the passion they have for the Barossa, vineyards, local produce and history of the area is amazing. All cellar doors were exceptional with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bethany and Rockfords were outstanding. A visit to Maggie Beers Farm shop and the Chocolate Factory is also recommended and very enjoyable to relax and appreciate the surrounds. Easy cycling around Tanunda to enjoy the scenery at closer range was a lot of fun. Wonderful location with plenty more on offer than noted above.

Tanunda and Angaston are both beautiful towns.
Tanunda and Angaston are both beautiful towns. Good food, good wine and beautiful scenery. Strongly suggest Casa Caboni for a great authentic Italian meal. The Clubhouse accomodation was very modern, spacious and a guaranteed great night's sleep. Good dining facilities available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast isn't available but there are plenty of cafe options close by. Wineries are also great. Gibson and Willow are well worth a look (and taste). Best of all you don't have to buy a flight. You can drink what you like! 10/10
Nice, well appointed studio room. Really comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities. Plenty of room to relax in. Great central location, literally a 5 minute walk into the centre of Tanunda. Beautiful little courtyard with enough privacy. Full laundry facilities. Dale was easy to contact, and came around the first day to ask if we needed any help. Also the studio had a lovely cosy feel and atmosphere.
The provisions for breakfast were wonderful. We had plenty for our needs but thought it was a nice touch that we only had to contact Tina if we wanted more.
The location was awesome, close to wineries and the Township of Tanunda. The lake setting was absolutely beautiful. I told my husband it reminded of the lake in The Notebook movie. Just beautiful and so relaxing.
Location is in the heart of Barossa and about 300m away from Chateau Tanunda. As we walked in to this lovely unit, heater and a few lamps were on to welcome us. Entire place was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Will definitely come back for next trip to Barossa ! Thank you Louise :)
We all loved our rooms, our stay of 3 nights - it was out-standing and the best accommodation that we had for our how trip in Aussie. The dinning was great and value for money, the rooms were beautiful - well-appointed and everything that we needed. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone that wants to stay at Tanunda.
Mataro provided all the comforts of home in the intimacy of a small cottage. Conveniently located only a stones throw from Tanunda centre which allows the indulgence of great food and wine without having to drive. Great location when visiting the various wine cellars in the area. Definitely would return.
Amazing little cottage with a very rustic and traditional look, and yet super warm and comfy. The wood burner warmed up the whole cottage quite quickly and nicely.
And the breakfast supplies were fresh and more than enough with a few different options.
Also, walking distance from Tanunda's city center.
Charming accommodation with everything one would expect and more. A full sized bathroom with enormous spa, while access to a laundry with clothes dryer was an unexpected bonus. The breakfast provisions were plentiful and much appreciated. Easy walk to Tanunda's main Street and Winery.
A great base for exploring the area. Lovely host. Very comfortable. Lovely facilities. Everything you'd need or want available. Nice and clean.
Not located in a particularly picturesque part of Tanunda, but very reasonably priced accordingly. Tim Tams!
Would definitely stay again.
The team at the Wine Vine Hotel were amazing! Went to EXTRAORDINARY lengths so that we could get out to Henscke. Just amazing. So grateful for their help. Room was comfortable but the people make this hotel special. Thank you again!
A well-appointed, comfortable house in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. A peaceful back garden; lots of roses in bloom, heritage rooms, and decent breakfast supplies (plus port and chocolates for the evening).
Very comfortable, 5min drive to town and heaps of restaurants and hotels. Beautiful gardens and very friendly and helpful host. There is a taxi service for those who prefer not to drive into town. Loverly experience.
Excellent location, near the Main Street.
Spotlessly clean.
Very comfortable bed.
Everything you would possibly need. So well equipped.
Delightful period cottage in excellent condition with quality furnishings
Cabin had everything we needed for our time exploring Tanunda wineries and the surrounds. It was a great spot and nice and clean. I would definitely return to this accomodation. Thanks very much for having us!
The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. The hotel is above a pub, but the noise was minimal and we received coupons for dining at the pub. There was also plenty of free parking.
Great cottage in a great location. Very clean, very comfortable with multiple heating options. Host provided a wide range of food as well as a bottle of their host vineyard wine.
