Outstanding welcome and Amelia and Chris were very friendly and helpful, lovely room, really nice large bed, and powerful shower, lovely breakfast every morning, the bagels and scrambled egg/ bacon was lovely and not the home made jam was lovely, really close to the beach and park

The beds were slightly softer than we are used to. We'd need a larger room if we were staying more than a week.

Amelia and Chris were very friendly and accommodating. I needed a later breakfast one morning and asked if the buffet could be left out, but Amelia said they could cook me a breakfast as well. Most helpful. They were hosts that I felt you could talk to about anything. Everything was very clean. A quiet location.

ideal location , peaceful & picturesque surroundings, hosts were as lovely couple as we’ve met and we travel a lot, the guest house was spotlessly clean, breakfast was plentiful & extremely tasty, definitely one of my favourite b&bs i’ve stayed in

That I stayed longer!

The hosts were so nice, they couldn't do enough to make my stay really good. the breakfast was wonderful - a huge choice that was entirely my choice and cooked whenever I got down for breakfast. The bed was so comfy, and I've never seen a mattress so thick. The water was hot, TV perfect - in fact, I just can't think of one thing to fault it for. Thank you Amelia and Chris!

Everything. Amelia Chris and daughter Isla were amazing, nothing to much trouble. Room was spotless and had everything you could need. Breakfast was lovely, we even had smoked salmon one morning. Two minute walk to the beach and lovely park and only a short walk to numerous restaurants in Paignton.

There wasn't anything I could say I didn't like about the stay.

Over and above for breakfast. You had plenty of choices and they certainly ensured you were set up for the day with such a lovely breakfast.

The single room I had had a quite small bathroom but there are already plans to improve it.

I very much enjoyed staying at the family run Wentworth Guest House. It was a very quiet location, practically in a cul-de-sac, and opposite a park with beautiful views over Torbay and a couple of minutes walk from the beach and boating activities for young people. It was less expensive than many other B&B's in the area, and was within walking distance of the bus and train stations (about 10 mins). In the house there was a lot of local information about places to go or to eat, and TV's in the bedrooms. The family tried very hard to please and were extremely friendly and helpful eg when I forgot to bring my phone charger with me. There were no problems. The breakfast was extremely good and many variations were available including vegetarian options.

The Wentworth is definitely a home from home guesthouse, Amelia and Chris go above and beyond for their guests and you can tell nothing is too much trouble for them 😀 but never in your face. The breakfast is definitely the best we have ever had.
