We had a great time with the whole family.
    • Leisure trip

    • Standard Double Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The beds aren't very comfortable. The blinds don't block out all of the light so it can be quite bright in the morning. No beds for babies available upon request, booking an extra room is required instead

Located centrally and close to Little Clarendon street which is perfect for breakfast and coffee. Easy to reach by foot from the train station or Gloucester Green bus station. Great value for money, also in the restaurant right below the hotel.

Nice simple accommodation that met our needs perfectly. Hassle free booking, check in and check out.

Slightly bigger bathroom but for our stay I can't find anything to complain about really!

We just needed some comfy beds and a hassle free night in Oxford which is exactly what we got. We booked last minute for the family and our needs were very simple, the two separate rooms with shared bathroom worked well for us.

    N/A

The location was perfect for the Town & Gown event starting in the University Parks. There was no breakfast included, but this didn’t matter as we had to leave the hotel early for the start of the event. The stand out feature was the friendliness of the staff.

The place to stay, when in Jericho

It is a little hard to find the hotel staff, especially for check in before the afternoon. The wi-fi comes in waves and is a bit shaky at times.

The room is surprisingly big. It is comfortable. The bathroom is small, but clean. The best side of the hotel is its location - in the quiet streets of Jericho and 10 minutes walk from Broad street, but also from Port Meadow. For the steep Oxford prices, it is a good deal.

Very tired. I had to clean the shower drain from hair as it was overflowing. The duvets are a disgrace - they are soiled and don’t fit in the covers so you have to look at the brown stains!

The location was perfect for the city on foot.

The decor was very basic, eg handle missing from a drawer, some small chips on furniture.

The room was a good size and it was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Just one comment on the bathroom. I found the bathroom's light on and couldn't switch it off (I couldn't find the switch). In the end I just shut the door to prevent the light coming into the bedroom.

The room was spacious and tidy. The location was also convenient, just 15-minute walk from the train station and a 10-minute from the city centre and the university.

I don't think there was anything I didn't like about my visit this time.

Having stayed here before, I was happy that I got the same room as I had before. All clean & tidy and just as it should be. Easy to book in at the restaurant on the corner, next door and a main entrance a few metres away, up a short covered set of steps. This place is about 10 minutes Taxi away from Oxford Station (with heavy bags), about 20 minutes walk via the town or 30 minutes walk along the river & canal via a couple of interesting pubs with a ruck sack and spare time before booking in. Its pot luck if you drive, there aren't any dedicated parking spaces.

They didn’t have breakfast although there was a mention about breakfast in the booking reservation, please remove that misleading information. Beds were quite soft.

Our twin room was spacious. Location in a quiet street allows to keep window open during the night. Short walk from the city centre.
