The room wasn't very warm, reception altered it but it made no difference. Was told it is not a heater but a warm air system! Really wouldn't stay in one of these in winter if you can't get the room warm. Sat in my coat at one point. Didn't have continental breakfast either as too expensive.

Great location, close to all city areas of interest. Room was clean and comfortable and very good value for money. Stand out feature which normally lets higher priced rooms down, the shower. High pressure, hot and just the best for a very long time.

Only 1 lift out of 2 working, although hotel was full. Went with my wife and child age 3, room had double Bed with bunk, found out on arrival bunk bed not suitable for under 6, or person over 120kg so couldnt be used.

Apart from the fact the key cards weren't working and had to change rooms 3 times. Not sure if it was just a glitch as a few other people who had arrived that day also had issues with their key cards. The toilet in the room was like a closet and very snug. The shower was next to the actual bed. As a new couple it was lacking privacy. The tall mirror was directly opposite to the shower glass door as well. So when laid on the bed you can see everything .I think the bathroom could have been contained as I wanted to shower but the other half was still asleep. So couldn't until he was awake. Also as a female it would have been nice to have a sink within the toilet area to wash hands etc. That was the only downside really. It has impacted whether we would stay again. I wouldn't just because of the bathroom situation. I wasn't fully aware of it prior to booking. Other than that the stay was great with great staff and facilities.

The closeness to the town. 10 mins walk. Staff very helpful. Was clean and tidy.

I didn’t sleep very well, toilet small and door didn’t close properly, not so much of an issue as i was staying alone

Simple but effective. Reception staff very friendly. Ideal for me staying for an event. Car park was full on arrival but there’s a multi story very nearby which wasn’t an issue to park in.

For me it had everything I needed and I would not of changed anything

The room was very comfortable, clean, bright, had everything you would need for your stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even the security in the evening very helpful.

There was a strong toilet smell in the shower (we didn't end up using because of this) and although the toilet itself was clean, there were a lot of splashes on the wall opposite that looked like faeces or vomit. The TV left a constant buzzing noise, so we had to unplug it. No coffee or tea provided in the room, no hairdryer or even bottled water. General disrepair, peeling paint, toilet roll holder kept falling apart.

Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfy. Private and quiet despite being on the side of a busy road. Parking was very secure and responsibly priced, and I didn't struggle to park at the hotel at all, lots of spaces.

Had to make my own bed on the top bunk. Only given a single pillow. Nowhere to hang a towel whilst showering. Only 2 plug sockets. Told the room was ready but had to pay £10 for early check in. Why not just let people have it and get their bags out of the way of the store room.

Good spot. Friendly staff who were accommodating.
