The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was good, it was very quiet and a 20 minute walk into Kos town centre. There were usually sunbeds available around the pool, and always some available on the rooftop garden. The room had aircon which was great because it was hot. There was a nice amount of options to choose from for breakfast, enough to keep us full until lunch. There was a reasonably priced menu for lunch for when we wanted a pool day, the food and drinks were great.
Excellent quality (refurbished only 1 year ago). Room was spacious and very clean. My wife had spinal surgery about 10 years ago and she was very happy with the bed being extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and easy going. Right on beachfront. Easy stroll into Kos town centre and lots of eateries. We went in April (Easter Weekend), it was quiet and there were plenty of shops and restaurants open (the rest were just beginning to get ready to open for the summer).
Great staff, great facility, near the beach. Not so near the city center, but we rented some bicikles near the hotel and cicled to the centre. It was quiet, so you could enjoy morning breakfast or dinner in the evening. Aroud the facility the chickens are walking freely, so we had a feeling like we were at home. You can have a drink at the snack bar, swim in the pool area or play the billard. Even if you don't go anywhere, you can still find some things to do.
I genuinely couldn't be happier with our stay.
We'd only come to Kos town to sample the tasting menu at a different hotel and booked the Cosmopolitan as a cheap place to stay for a single night. In total it came to €41 which included dinner and breakfast. As we were already dining out in the evening we didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast was fantastic - better than the "All-inclusive 5 star" hotel we were staying at for the rest of the holiday.
The hotel is immaculately presented with lovely rooms and decor. Very clean with a lovely pool area. The hotel also had a private beach area with sunbeds/umbrellas with staff to order food and drinks. Location is just out of the centre, but the beach is clean with smooth pebbles. We were very impressed with the lovely young lady at check in who was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable with everything you need. It is a beautful hotel.
We stayed in a apartment with beautiful balcony/terrace. The view was amazing. Apartment was very large and spacious. Location was perfect and you can walk to the Kos town. Beach was right in front of the hotel.
Staff was nice and caring. They give us very good tips of nearby restaurants and driving locations in Kos. Because of the tip we ended up in Zia, a beautiful hill town and must see if you visit Kos.
We absolutely loved the apartment, it was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. Petros was a very welcoming and helpful host who went beyond the norm to make sure our stay went well. Combine all of that with a location just a few minutes walk from the heart of Kos Town, and we can't imagine there being a better place to stay on Kos.
Spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great attention to detail and very easy communication with the owner. central location, easy to walk everywhere and near to the port area. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for a stay in Kos town.
Everything was great. The host was very kind and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean. The hotel was very close to center and attraction places. It also had supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and bars around. It was definitely the best option.
Though located outside of Kos town, it’s a perfect location. Bike rentals are nearby. The highlight was the breakfast buffet. There is a large selection of food for every taste. Everything is fresh. They even cook up custom omelettes.
The pool is awesome. Great area to chill.
If a facility is to be mentioned as being by the sea and close to the city center, this is exactly it. Breakfast is not excellent but quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to my acquaintances who will come after me.
The hotel is located in a quiet side street just a short walk from the center of Kos Town. The rooms are bright, well equipped, and sparkling clean and the owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. We will definitely return when visiting Kos again!
This is a great hotel, very centrally located in Kos town but in a quiet area. Rooms are modern, the shower especially was very good. Balcony looking at the pool in the room. Great breakfast, nice pool area, friendly staff. Would recommend
Excellent hotel in the centre of Kos town, near the old town, tavernas and restaurants. Absolutely clean and comfortable beds, good breakfast and friendly service!! Thank you greatly for the wonderful stay!!!!
this place is amazing , location a few miles from centre , just across the road to beach , all inclusive option , food , drink , staff 5* , room deluxe was good size , very comfortable.
A charming and well-run hotel just outside the centre of Kos Town, with a lovely swimming pool, and close to a lovely beach. Short walk into town for bars and restuarants.
Everything is excellent. Next summer I will visit with my wife without any delay. Everybody helpfull and always smile. Hotel's location near everywhere in centre.
