We loved this place! The owners are a very sweet couple and they welcomed our dog as well. There are a lot of details made the stay a big difference, there’s fresh flowers and fruits in the room, a beach bag and everyday some small surprises.

The hotel is well located with a short walk to the promenade and beach. The people were very friendly and helpful, especially with where to park the car safely. There is a main road and tram which passes by the hotel but it was not a problem. At night with the windows closed you did not hear anything. The hotel room was enough for the two of us.

Seaside Pursuits in the Shade of a Pier
Blankenberge is Belgium’s most popular seaside resort and has a lively atmosphere day and night. Its prominent pier is the only one in the country and despite its long length, at low tide the North Sea recedes almost as far as its circular tip, exposing a wide stretch of sand.
In summer this golden resource becomes moulded into incredible works of art during the Sand Sculpture Festival, on a sheltered site opposite the Sea Life Centre Belgium.
More creatures live in the Serpentarium, just along the beachfront promenade from Blankenberge Casino. To either side are a host of high-rise buildings containing shops, restaurants and sea-view hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
To the south-west the promenade ends at the access channel to the large marina and the surrounding streets offer more accommodation options, some with their own swimming pool. All are near Blankenberge train station and a short drive from Zeebrugge Port, the arrival point of ferries from England. Its towering cranes can be spotted during a horseback ride on the beach or when cycling through the dunes.
The spire of St Anthony’s Church is another tall landmark, and the 17th-century town hall has one of the historic gables still visible between Blankenberge’s modern shops.

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.

The beach is of exceptional quality and the beach promenade has a great amount of restaurants. The beach bars are good, although I didn't explore the nightlife too much. As a tourist, essentially any accomodation is very easily reachable from the central train station.
Generally, if one is just interested in a nice beach vacation, I'd say 3 days is good - however, since it is quite close to Brugges and also to Ghent, one could stay much longer for some sightseeing.

Nice beach and dunes allowing for a relaxing walk while enjoying fresh sea breeze and the landscape. Small, cosy shopping area with a good choice of nice restaurants. Not far away from another very nice city: Brugge. Blankenberge has also a small arbour.

Blankenberge is a very special place for me and my family.
Blankenberge is a very special place for me and my family. We like it very much and we go there every year, not bored at all. It is not a big town, more relaxed and charming. If someone likes it is possible to visit other places along the coast with a tram going from Knokke through Oostende to De Panne.

The view, the beach, the air, the market, the proximity to the centre of town and the station. Also, Bruges is very close by train and a must! We have not been disappointed by the restaurants. We would like to express our gratitude to the landlady of de Sleutel next-door who was incredibly helpful on our arrival putting herself out to make urgent phone calls for us. The food at de Sleutel was delicious and the service very effcient and pleasant!

It looks like a nice place during the summer holidays, the beach is extensive and it is a quite nice landscape. However, it is very windy during autumn. Also, the town is really quiet, most of the restaurants and cafes close very early (around 21:00), and not a lot of choices for activities, at least during this time of the year.
The hotel is located in the city centre. 3 minutes walk to the beaches. Near the hotel there is parking 10€ per day. Unfortunately there was no space so we left the car at the Haven car park - 20€ per day. Many thanks to Mrs Karine for the kind welcome, the quiet rooms and all the tips for accommodation. Continental breakfast buffet. Nice service. Two lifts in the hotel. Rooms large, well heated. Safe, small fridge. Good water pressure in the shower. We had a nice time at the hotel. Recommended
We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at the hotel. Our family studio was well designed, clean, and made out of nice materials. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is easy. The kids had lots of fun on the mini-golf course (which is run down, but still enjoyable). And the location--a short walk from a big clean beach with fantastic dunes--is superb. It was an easy drive down for Bruges sightseeing, too. All in all, we were very pleased by our choice.
Everything is perfect, from decoration to equipment, mattress, pillows, flowers in the room, water and fruits on behalf of the hotel. Modern hotel, close to the beach. From the moment we entered the room we felt like home. We loved the personal touch of the owner from the moment you arrive at the reception to the room check in and breakfast. A hotel that is run with both passion and professionalism. A perfect stay in Blankenberge and we will for sure return soon.
The hotel is in a fantastic area, almost on the beach. The pool area and pool itself was great, also well adjusted to covid restrictions. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was delivered to the room and it was really abundant.
However, the biggest treasure of our stay was Mo, the guest manager. Smile, helpfulness, patience explaining things - he has it all. “Mo is the best” said my 9 yrs old daughter and asked me to come back to this hotel. We definetely will.
Perfect location to visit north Belgium, 20 mins from Bruges and 30 from Ghent at a lower cost than these places while enjoying a spectacular sea view from the 5th floor. Adequate for a family (we were 2 adults and two teen agers). Parking in the area is free from 19h till 9am, otherwise quite expensive (1 to 2€/Hr). At 15 mins walk distance there is 7€/day parking.
Apartment is large and has modern amenities.
Very spacious and clean rooms, and bathroom. Enough spaces for storage and a mini fridge in room. Near to the beach. FREE and plenty parking is very helpful in orherwise costly parking situations around the city. Breakfast was very good. The 'Tearoom' is excellent with many free to play options including table tennis, billiards. Helpful staff at reception and breakfast.
Very clean and new . Very comfortable . The water in the shower heated up quickly and easily so it was very nice . Lilian , the owner was very caring and she made sure that were well fed for breakfast . And when we came back to our room at night , we had a little treat /snack . We really enjoyed our stay there. ABC hotel was truly an excellent hotel.
Was very clean, very comfortibal, very nice people working there.
Location is ideal, nxt to old local town and a few 100 mtrs from the beach.
We will go back for sure, perfect town for skaters you can littery skate all over.
The food is very tasty in the restaurants in town.
The locacion was great with a view towards the sea. Even there are at the moment some construction works in front of the building, it does not bother you when you are inside the apartment. It was cosy and had all the facilities we needed to spend some relaxing days at the beach
I like the location very close to the beach and to all the shops along the road I love the swimming pool even if we need to go to another hotel which I also experienced staying in the hotel azaert before. The Reception in the hotel paradisio is very nice .
Good value for money. Friendly staff, clean, good price, location. With the tram we were able to move to Zeebruge for dinner or to the other side of Blankenberge for lunch, walk to SEALIFE the animal park/aquarium and of course walk to the beach.
We had a great experience with Hotel Chaplin in Blankenberge, staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Location of this hotel is also good, just a few minutes walking distance from the beach.
The space was very bright and welcoming and an extra touch was the cut flowers. It was bigger than I had thought! Minutes from the beach and super close to the train and to a little local market for food.
Breakfast is very good. Room is comparably spacious, although a bit outdated. The hotel is not far from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel.
