At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Beautiful gardens and a superb 20m swimming pool. Rooms were exceptional with decent fridge, microwave and kitchenettes in most rooms. Lots of privacy wherever you are. Excellent WiFi which extends to the gardens and pool. Wonderful breakfasts with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains and gardens. Great location to explore Stellenbosch and beyond.

We absolutely loved staying at Oudebosch Guest farm. The accommodation was so comfortable, the views of the mountains were awe inspiring, lovely pool as well. The cherry on top of the cake however, was the morning horse ride we did with Linda, we are absolute beginners, but Linda and her horses made it seem effortless. Such a lovely ride and wonderful stay.

The cottages are lovely, hot tub was great. The pool was clean and a welcome break from the heat. Attention to detail is evident all around and our stay was really relaxing. Will definitely come stay again, next time with a group of friends.
